I'm adding Marcus to Kitty and Johnny in the list of acts I still give a shite about. Probably tonight's best perf so far.

Finally caught up, I think.

 

9/10 Craig - Amazing perf. I loved the way he switched it up. Best performance since Jar Of Hearts for me.

6/10 Janet - Decent enough, but the way she forgot the words... and I just found it a little boring.

5/10 Johnny - Could have just done the second song and it would have been far better. Hung Up was really weak.

4/10 The Risk - Boring song choice. Didn't particularly like it. Only Derry's rap attracted my interest.

That said it was a sensational performance, easily his best to date BY FAR.

I thought that was a great performance actually. After quite a few sub-par performances tonight, this is the second one that's impressed me. His best performace so far since the live finals started.

No offense (and I know you get stick for being a Janet fan), but are you truly being objective?

if I'm a janet fan then I'm obviously going to object to her being a poor singer. :P she wasn't at her top last week that's for sure I'll admit that, and for many weeks she's been getting the same stick for singing a ballad week after week and then being told she wouldn't dare do an upbeat because she isn't versatile. but even then, people don't give her a chance.

to sum it up, here's what the majority are like:

 

week 1-4: 'Terrible performance, terrible girl. Can't sing. Not versatile, doesn't have the 'vox'.'

week 5: 'Terrible performance.'

 

it just grinds my gears a bit when people say 'oh they're awful they're NEVER going to be good EVER'.

Marcus DELIVERS. EVERY TIME. That was so fab. He just makes everything look ridiculously easy. I bet he is versatile too *wink wink*
