That is normally the case but hip hop fans aren't going to rush to the shops to buy a physical copy are they?

And presumably, non-hip-hop fans are also not going to rush to the shops to buy a record containing hip-hip...

iTunes Popularity Bars

Saturdays #13 combined! I hope they start picking up.. they need to break top 10!

My iTunes seems to have reverted to an earlier version - showing One Direction at #10, Flo Rida at #20 and The Saturdays at #26.

Regardless, all seem to be taking their time - especially the Saturdays and One Direction. I agree that One Direction'll probably debut at #2/3 - with the EP sales ensuring it's the #1 in the midweeks.

Although saying that I guess they have the XF and will get a boost from CIN on friday - their EP is number 1 and they will have strong physical sales - which will help in the long run....

Gonna be another close one IMO

I Wish by some miracle labrinth climbs to 1 :teresa:
Surely the phenomena of the new singles held back in the past 2 months has shown how out of date holding back singles is in this day and age - jls only peaking at no2 today should prove the point perfectly!!whereas singles released earlier are selling in far greater quantities and rise up itunes again by the end of a particular week!!
I would love Marry The Night to come out of no where at snatch the #1 from from 1D, however it looks unlikely!
Am suprised 1D aint top 5, Its like nearly 5pm, Everyone is saying ''wow there climbing fast'' but i think there climbing very slow :\ This time last week JLS was #5 or #4. (And yes i know 1D EP is #1 on album's but loads of EP go #1 on there and #1 on singles too by now)

very surprised at how slow everything is today, i recall a few years ago JLS, Cheryl, Leona all having massive long leads at #1 before they even performed on TXF.

really hope the Saturdays can manage to go top 20

The Sats not even top 200 yet :o, OUCH :kink:

Seriously though, they better go top 10 at least, my favourite Sats single so far!

I'm honestly surprised 1D aren't anywhere near No.1, could they miss No.1 as well? (Doubtful, but seeing what's happened the last 2 weeks...)

Nice to see Little Boots doing well, but I had a bad feeling the new SP song would flop :( Isn't the album out this week too?

Rihanna is releasing her new single at midnight!

Hmmm not really a fan of her new one tbh. It's probably a grower - although now I say that, I'll probably hate it. :D

Rihanna is releasing her new single at midnight!

 Will she knock herself off no.1?

Rihanna didn't confirm whether it's out in the UK though, she didn't specify which iTunes.
Rihanna is releasing her new single at midnight!

I think it should debut in the top 10. Monday release will hurt it a bit, so I think it might chart at #8 or something in its first week. Hopefully it helps push Moves Like Jagger out the top 10. :drama:
