I can't say I'm not surprised that the majority aren't enjoying her vocals on the song, mainly as it's the USUAL SUSPECTS at it again. fairplay to t-pain with the comment about going into mute halfway through some words but it's a radio rip, which isn't the highest quality.

I'd say the objectivity (rather the lack thereof) is far worse on the hate side, it's like she can do absolutely nothing at all right...

well actually I didn't intend to, promise. :P I only feel love when I hear janet's vocal.

God 'Wishing On A Star' is such an awful song. All of their voices sound f***ed up on it too! They all sound tinny and just terrible quality. It's horrible and actually genuinely hurt my ears. Awful. 'Hero' remains the sole XF song I actually really like!

I liked it, but the JLS and One Direction bit is so pointless. Their gonna come on the show on Sunday just to do that?

Terrible. The worst one yet by far. Can they just stick to doing songs with 'Hero' in the title as they're the only ones that seem to turn out OK. Really hope the combination of the 1D & JLS fanbase together with the people who would've bought it without them added on don't manage to get it to #1.

Didn't see the video, but just listening to it you know that JLS and 1D were tacked on (probably last minute too) just for the sake of it being a hit...

Just seen the video on ITV 2 and have changed my mind about some of the acts. Of course Misha needs to start her career now she is so good.

Marcus has such a beautiful voice. It is smooth, mellow and silky. He could easily manage soul and R&B songs. He is one of the highlights and I think with good material could do well. Not sure why JLS and 1D are tacked on the end that part was begging for a Kitty solo.

After watching Little Mix who I barely noticed I do now think they have something. The blonde girl has an amazing recording voice.In the video though she outshines the other members so much and they are like her backing singers.

Craig is just awful and is a nightmare to watch again his part should have gone to Kitty.

 

also, why didn't/haven't they released the song that's used in the M&S advert? That one sounds a lot better. :(

Maybe because they are her backing singers in this? She was the only one given anything to sing and they barely showed the other 3 on camera

what exactly do JLS and One Direction do apart from say 'JLS! ONED!' right at the end? :mellow: probably the most pointless feature ever, I can't really tell much about the song as it sounds quite low Q from that recording, but from what I heard, it sounded no less dreary than their other offerings

This article is an intresting read, I would take some of it with a pinch of salt, and obviously the writer wasn't keen on Kelly and Misha mainly before they visited, but still a good read.
