Kind of gutted 'Who You Are' fell short seeing as she was as high as #3 in the midweeks :( Oh well, still very pleased it managed to get Top 10 - don't care what the haters think, it's a stunning song imo and one of my songs of the year .
Bre must love this week's chart. Coldplay top 10, Jessie J falling and Maroon 5 and Christina finally out of the top 10.

Good remake of the Ruby & the Romantics tune from 1963 which hit #1 and was a hit for Frankie Valli in 1975. Too bad we lost Amy way too soon

Earthquake would be such a good song if it was Tinie free.

WHAT? I love his bit and the build up to him coming in!!

Who You Are actually dropping - much better result than expected :D Hopefully it'll piss off with HASTE now.

Don't forget The A Team reaching 26 weeks top 40 :D

Not so much enjoying Mariah being ahead of The Pogues though <_<

Didn't see Jessie J falling to number nine - I was expecting number seven at the minimum, it's that pesky 'We Found Love' - hopefully it won't spend a tenth week in the top 5.
What songs are regarded as xmas classics in the us?

Great question. I don't think America goes for big Xmas tracks. Off the top of my head George Michael's "Faith" was the Xmas No.1 in 1987 and Phil Collin's "Another Day in Paradise" was Xmas No.1 in 1989 (Geez, how depressing!) :-o

THAT'S GENIUS AND I WILL HEAR NO WORD OTHERWISE. Take that and "Just Dance" and I could happily never hear anything else the man has done ever again.

Its genius when you play it after having sex  It really pisses girls off!!

CLASSY.

I was hoping for a climb here :( But #8 is a great peak for a fifth single, it's such a great song however it is very love/hate which is why it's not the massive top 5 hit it looked like it'd be
I never realised how bad Jessie J's singing is on this track!

Most Akon songs are like that.

Paradise a top ten after all these weeks? I´m really surprised, is by far thier worst lead single, and I thought, after the initial excitement it would have been falling steadly...but I was wrong...which one is the next single?

8  (from 5) Avicii - Levels [D]

Jeez, Coldplay all the way to #7/8 - with the Flo Rida deletion, he could well find himself at #7 behind Coldplay.

It isn't a lead single - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall was.

Levels

Yes! Coldplay are #7 :cheer: I did say I expected anywhere between 7 and 10 but the upper half of that prediction was more wishful thinking than anything else.

Levels  Hopefully this will climb or at least stay level (no pun intended) next week.
