December 11, 201114 yr How old are you? 19. It's surprisingly good, I used to hate him but two great singles on the trot is unprecedented :o The new one reminds me of Streets - Dry Your Eyes in concept and structure, although not melody. A lad ballad  Professor Green used to work with the Streets before he made the mainstream. I think they're an inspiration to him musically. Edited December 11, 201114 yr by Eric_Blob
December 11, 201114 yr Author 19. Have fun with teenager's attitudes about you when you get to my age (35) then :P
December 11, 201114 yr Have fun with teenager's attitudes about you when you get to my age (35) then :P I didn't mean to offend anyone. :( I just thought the "legal" age was 18, rather than 16, that's all.
December 11, 201114 yr The Only Way is Essex's version of Last Christmas is proof that humanity is doomed.

December 11, 201114 yr The new one reminds me of Streets - Dry Your Eyes in concept and structure, although not melody. A lad ballad  This was exactly what I thought when I heard it earlier today. Following a ripoff with a ripoff :P Disappointed to see Example as low as #30, hopefully this won't be its peak :(

December 11, 201114 yr So it's pretty much confirmed now that "When We Stand Together" by Nickelback is this year's first Number 41 single.
December 11, 201114 yr Did you not say in the past that you thought people in their 30s listened to classical music all the time? Probably. I've said just about everything on here tbh. I remember once pissing off lots of people in this thread by saying people over the age of 20 wouldn't remember Stan aswell. I like this Example song. I thought it would miss the top 40 initially.
December 11, 201114 yr #30 is a disapointing peak for a song as great as this. Didn't 'Last Ones Standing' peak at #27? That was probably his worst single to date (if you exclude the real non single Two Lives)
