Hi everybody, good afternoon :D

We all know -true.

We all love - perhaps a tad strong (well, for me anyway).

The only Christmas song I'd love to see enter is Mike Oldfield's 'In Dulce Jubilo', although I cannot see that happening, at least this Christmas anyway.

I want Greg Lake - I Believe In Father Christmas. Failing that, Shaky.

Of course, what I'm looking forward to most is hearing Reggie Wrong read out the full artist credit for 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'.

For the benefit of our younger audience, it's by:

Wizzard, featuring vocal backing by The Suedettes, plus the Stockland Green Bilateral School First Year Choir, with additional noises by Miss Snob & Class 3C

That won't fit on my database it shall remain as Wizzard :(

2010

01. (6) The Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit) Some say this is the worst #1 ever, I'm clearly not in that majority  Love the BEPs

03. (2) Ellie Goulding - Your Song

04. (8) Rihanna - What's My Name ft Drake If only her new single was doing as well as this right now :( You Da One really is relatively flopping so far

05. (7) Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)

06. (5) Far East Movement - Like A G6 ft Cataracs & Dev

09. (9) David Guetta - Who's That Chick ft Rihanna

2006

01. (1) Take That - Patience Love this, one of if not the greatest comeback single ever

02. (3) Booty Luv - Boogie 2nite This wouldn't have made a good #1. Nice enough song but not that good tbh

03. (2) Akon - Smack That

05. (4) Nelly Furtado - All Good Things (Come To An End)

06. (5) Justin Timberlake - My Love

08. (-) Gwen Stefani - Wind It Up I actually liked this  It's better than The Sweet Escape anyway :P but nothing close to What You Waiting For

09. (8) Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit

2001

01. (1) Daniel Bedingfield - Gotta Get Thru This

02. (-) Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dancefloor

04. (-) Stereophonics - Handbags And Gladrags

06. (3) PPK - ResuRection

07. (-) Hermes House Band - Country Roads

1996

02. (2) The Prodigy - Breathe

I want Greg Lake - I Believe In Father Christmas. Failing that, Shaky.

Greg Lake is the last track on my Christmas Mix this year! I haven't seen it on TV yet though!

...which the iTunes chart wrongly thinks is spelt 'In Dulci...' for some reason. (It's the Now... Xmas version.) It was #134 on iTunes on Thursday, but it has barely moved. Currently #128.

First time ive heard this. I quite like it.

Got Slow Moving Millie's album yesterday, absolutely gorgeous although you know exactly what to expect from it based on this song...

Wow. A year since The Time! :o I still love it. So glad that their amazing X Factor performance boosted the song to #1. I remember it dropped out of the top 10 on iTunes really quickly, so I thought that was it, but I guess it was a grower.

This song playing now (I can NOT be bothered to type out its title ) is quite nice.

Now I see why the die hard Smithsettes aren't happy. It's as interesting as a buttered pancake.

3 slow songs at the start and the best of them is at 38. Video Games

39 Slow Moving Millie - Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want

Really surprised that this never took off and threatened the Top Ten

Excited to hear T-Pain, Lloyd and Sway interviews! :o Olly Murs is nice too, but he's EVERYWHERE. I think I know everything about him now.

Video Games is so nice.

Hurrah for Video Games!

Of course, what I'm looking forward to most is hearing Reggie Wrong read out the full artist credit for 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday'.

Here in Birmingham, we've taken a peculiar pride in that line-up for the last 38 years. And before you ask, the school no longer exists under that name.

It won't happen of course, because;

(a) It's not listed like that on iTunes

(b) Reggie isn't remotely interested in any aspect of the charts, except having his pretend showbiz friends in the studio

© I won't be listening

But it does get its annual mention in the commentary :D

Really surprised that this never took off and threatened the Top Ten

Overkill of songs of its ilk?
