I'm pretty sure Military Wives will be the main contenders against Little Mix, there is a lot of hype behind this and I think it broke Amazon pre-order records, I guess it could pick up some decent downloads due to how hyped it is alone...

 

I think most of it depends on how much Little Mix sell this week

 

I don't know what share percentage Amazon contribute though, iTunes is one of the largest.

Looks like Jls - Do You Feel What I Feel might miss the top 10, they've already started promoting and it's not re-enterting the top 40 yet. The Wanted also have a song that has missed the top 40 as it's down to around 150. I am shocked Warzone has flopped so badly!

 

once all the xmas songs fall out im sure JLS will reappear i still think they could make top 10 theyll have promo over xmas and new year and the official release date is 1st January the xmas songs will have fallen by then i dont think theyll have much competition (although i could be wrong)

 

really pleased for little mix i love the original verdion but i actually quite like their cover of cannonball definitely one of the better x factor winners singles

This needs context though. We don't know amazon's share of the CD market (i assume not very high) and the places to pre-order or indeed buy singles is vastly smaller than albums thus it is concentrated into probably just amazon and HMV, where as progress you could pre-order and get from supermarkets ect.

I also thought Forgiveness was going to miss the top 100 this week, but it looks like it'll go top 75. Glad it's doing "well".

 

Rihanna's current single is doing so badly. It's only a 2 weeks until its official release week I think, and it's not even top 40 on iTunes. What's My Name?, on the other hand, was top 10 on iTunes, almost 3 months before its official release week.
