Yeah she went last tour and loved it :D only bad thing about taking my mum to a show is I have to get seats, she can't do the standing thing lol. So I might treat her to VIP seats cuz I love her lots :)

I think this is my least favourite P!nk album after her debut :( I just think the formula is a bit tired now, and all of the songs kind of merge in to one (bar. try, blow me and just give me a reason), there isn't anything insanely awful on there, but i don't think there are any career defining, truly out of this world songs either.

Please tell me this means she'll be #1 on the BB200!!! either way wow great sales! the original estimate was only 200k then 225k i think, 280k is wonderful, i'm so happy even 12 years on she continues to become more and more successful, usually its the opposite, truly happy for her!

The long wait is over! It's my birthday and I've finally listened!

 

Not as instant as I'd hoped, certainly not up with the last 2. Still a decent album. Will give it plenty more listens this weekend. Now on to the Killers.

Thanks I had a brilliant birthday-I got a Pink album so how could it not have been great? :lol:

 

I've been so busy that I'm only halfway through my second listen and the album is definitely growing on me. It certainly doesn't seem Pink by numbers let people over in the chart forum have written her off as. It seems like she's spliced her last 4 albums together-this one certainly has more of a Try This feel than the last 2 which of course is not a bad thing at all.

 

Standout tracks for me so far-Blow Me, Try, Just Give Me A Reason, True Love, The Truth About Love and Here Comes The Weekend. I'm really LOVING the collaborations so far.

I loved I'm Not Dead and Funhouse but I'm glad she's gone a bit of a different way this time. I remember listening to Funhouse for the first time and thinking 'this is awfully similar to I'm Not Dead, how much longer can she pull this off?'

 

Very different to what's currently in the charts which is a great thing.

I have found myself getting a bit bored of this now :( something seems to be missing with this album. Its all a bit....slutty. The uptempo tracks seem to be all about

Nothing really, but I do miss the P!nk who would tear into people in her songs rather than sing about getting stuffed on a Friday night and hobbling home the next day :P

Perhaps she got fed up of trying too hard. After all, all Rihanna sings about is sex and she only has to cough to get top 5.

Well I'd much rather she "tried too hard" and made songs that do not revolve solely around sex and actually got better with every listen.

I like the album, but its a rather big fall in quality from her previous two albums.
