Good singles week for Olly. Dance with me tonight is doing very well, it's at number 2 combined and Heart skips a beat is on the verge of the top 10 combined. This is the Itunes voucher effect? Wonder what place they'll chart, will he get two songs in the top 10?

23. James Morrison - 'Up (feat. Jessie J)'

37. Jessie J - 'Domino'

^ Wowee! 'Up' definitely looking to chart in the top 40 this week and 'Domino' looking to climb to just outside.

I know. I'm just secretly annoyed that it'll outsell the perfection known as Viva la Vida.

Both of them are perfection IMO :kink: Both are my favourite songs of their respective years of release. I do *slightly* prefer VLV but I have no complaints at how well Paradise is selling. VLV is still selling well now anyway (currently #100 on iTunes) and will probably continue to strongly trickle sell indefinitely so whatever its total sales are now they're only going to keep on growing.

 8. You da One - Rihanna

 9. Wherever You Are - Military Wives, Gareth Malone & London Metropolitan Orchestra

Now for Labrinth to overtake the Wives to #9 and We Found Love or Levels to kick them out of the top 10 :D

JLS stalling despite the Christmas clearance, there are at least four duplicates ahead of them though. Nice to see GaGa climbing again. Nirvana up to 68 again
It's still #1 physical CD on Amazon though (bigger than any albums): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bestsellers-Music/...2EXA30250HSDZKZ

Yes they did :P It just hadn't had as much exposure and had more competition in the charts. Personally I'm really glad that it finally looks like it could do the business this week or next.

Albums will be in freefall this week anyway especially with no new or big holdover releases. The nearest is Amy which doesn't seem made for longevity.

A better indicator is that Military Wives sold 25% of its copies as a download last we heard which would put them at 120% of Coldplay but the gift factor for the physical is gone. It might be close and it looks like the download is in freefall if there is a similar pattern in other outlets.

FFS. Come on Kelly! You can climb better than this! :drama: Brilliant for Jessie and 'Domino' though :D

I'm barely seeing any TV play for Kelly and she's going to get drowned out by the 'best of 2011' for a week at least

I've seen Kelly's new video so many times on TV. I really hope it starts climbing.

Ooh, Earthquake up to #8 :D

Military Wives down to 10, knock 'em out now Rihanna & Calvin :P

What channels? I think I've seen it twice <_<

Little Mix are holding up quite well actually! :o How quickly have the other XF winners' singles fallen out the top 40?

Thing is with Little Mi x because they havent sold huge amounts the weeks its been available maybe it'll have better longevity and sell smaller amounts over a longer period. But at least if this isnt that huge they have a chance of outselling their winners single, which only Leona has done if I remember correctly?

Adele update:

SLY #24

SFTTR #29

RITD #40

All top 40 on Sunday please, thank you.

Lego House #3 :o Another A Team for Ed then, amazing longevity.

Love On Top  #16, make it 59p, then it'll go top 10! :heehee:

So great to see Up at #23, its going to make top 40, maybe even top 30 now!

We Found Love going back to top 10, even though its there combined, it'll be nice to see it back on the iTunes top 10. :D

I don't know about iTunes but the top 40 chart runs of the winner's singles so far:

Steve Brookstein - Against All Odds 8wks

2-1-2-4-12-27-33-38-x

Shayne Ward - That's My Goal 13wks (n/c)

1-1-1-1-5-6-7-10-12-22-33-x-x-x-x-x-36-34-x

Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This 9wks

1-1-1-1-6-12-18-33-32-x

Leon Jackson - When You Believe 6wks

1-1-1-5-15-27-x

Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah 9wks

1-1-1-3-6-11-23-32-28-x

Joe McElderry - The Climb 6wks

2-1-2-15-25-38-x

Matt Cardle - When We Collide 8wks

1-1-1-2-5-20-25-37-x

Little Mix Cannonball 2wks (so far)

1-2-...

If Coldplay pip them to #2 this week it'll be the first one to not spend at least 3 weeks top 2.

Well, 3 weeks into their releases most the winner's singles would be on their 3rd weeks at number 1. (Shayne, Leona, Leon, Alexandra & Matt all managed a third week) Joe fell the week after he finally made number 1 & so did Steve. I reckon Little Mix could be given their own 'Bad Boys'-type song for their first single and it will smash, real good. I can imagine their album selling in decent quantities too. Much more than your average girl group anyway. (Although that's not exactly hard lately. A 60k opening would be the best girl group opening since Girls Aloud's 'Out Of Control'!)

22. James Morrison featuring Jessie J 'Up'

26. T-Pain featuring Lily Allen + Wiz Khalifa '5 O'clock'

30. LMFAO featuring GoonRock + Lauren Bennet 'Party Rock Anthem'

33. Jessie J 'Domino'

42. Jason Derulo 'Fight for You'

'Up' finally taking off :cheer: Just like Broken Strings did! Still some hope it could be a biggish hit.
What is Chasing Cars doing back in the top 40? I asked in another thread but didn't get any sense
