That was last week :P The Hot 100 hasn't yet been posted in full for this week.

Oh yeah I forgot about that, thought she was at 92 but that was the week before ha.

And YAY to her breaking the top 100! RISE ELLIE RISE! Hope her album is back in the top 200. Lights (song) must surely have gone gold. It had sold 180k up till august and has been top 150 for ages now.

amazing to see Adele at number 1....

i hope she's shooting a video for it now caus' Guetta will probably get it next week since his video will be out by then...

Kelly at number 1! Really, really pleased (and surprised) this has become a big a hit as it has been! I thought people were over Kelly and her "sound". Very pleased to see everyone thinks otherwise!

WOW at Kelly Clarkson's lead.

01. Kelly Clarkson - What Dosen't Kill You 100%

02. David Guetta & Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On 84.7%

When on earth will they release Nicole Scherzinger's debut album? I guess their wanting to do it off the back of a American idol performance, but what a messed up campaign. Pretty didin't even get a release!

Not too bothered about Adele's progress now she's got the Hot 100 #1 with it - a few weeks at the top would be nice but at least it has the one :P She may end up holding it for at least this week anyway because of how much higher her airplay is than Guetta's and Kelly's.

Gotye now up to #16 :o! Will the US follow suit of the rest of the world and make this a massive hit? (Well it's not quite one yet in the UK but it's heading that way).

64. Levels - Avicii

Shocked at how long this has managed to stick around in the USA! :D

100. HYFR (Hell Ya F*****g Right) [feat. Lil Wayne] - Drake

Why is this charting again? Is this getting some airplay as well? Poor 'The Motto' having its airplay stolen from it :P I do like both of them but 'The Motto' is a lot better (and it's also much better than 'Make Me Proud' which radio are still playing more than 'The Motto' :drama:)

-x-

US iTunes has retagged Kelly's song as 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' now - if it gets retagged as this in the Uk as well it'll be the second time it's been retagged, as it was originally added as just 'Stronger' :P

I can't believe The Wanted are so high! :o

I read that Make Me Proud recently got to #1 on the RnB chart in the US, so I guess we can blame the RnB stations for the wrong Drake songs getting airplay.

Kelly Clarkson's lead is huge already, but David Guetta's slightly higher airplay and soon-to-be-released music video will probably close the gap a bit, with regards to placing in the Hot 100.

Isn't Gold 500k+ in America? If so I doubt it has sold 320k within half a year lingering at Top 150

Hopefully the Grammys buzz will keep SFTTR afloat a bit longer. I'm thinking about 3 weeks at #1 before she surrenders the crown to Kelly?

Same Bre, its got to #1 now, not bothered at all how long it stays there or what else happens, as you say everything next is simply a bonus. Already over 2million sales :o Everything else is just great to see. The airplay is still building :D

I'm not so sure Kelly will get #1 on the Hot 100. Would obviously love for it to happen though.

Amazing lonegivty for Rolling in the Deep, still top 40 :o Its never even got old! Someone Like You still holding up so well too at #18, and ofcourse SFTTR at #2. You wouldnt think these singles were off such a huge album :o
Glad You Came #32 then. I hope it doesn't do a "Written In The Stars" and miss the top 10 on the Billboard, although Tinie's got another shot at stardom over there with his second album whereas I think this is almost certainly The Wanted's best chance.

Good to see Adele back ahead of Guetta/Nicki :D Although they'll probably be back ahead when the video comes out.

Adele has an airplay advantage of nearly 80 million over Kelly which I think is still growing or at least not being closed that quickly, so I don't think Kelly's lead is big enough to prevent SFTTR from at least a second week at #1 :D Guetta has much higher airplay than Kelly so will be more of a threat when his video comes out (although he's still about 60 million behind).

'The Motto' has been hanging around the lower half of the top 20 for weeks now I think but still refuses to go top 10 again :(

The Wanted and Ellie still making good progress :D I echo Charlie's sentiment of hoping 'Glad You Came' doesn't end up 'doing a Written In The Stars', everything seemed to be falling in line just perfect for that and then it went and stalled with a Hot 100 peak of #12. Sigh. At least it was a top 10 hit on Digital Songs though.

I'm also pissed off at The Motto not being able to get back in the top 10. So frustrating. I thought it would manage it easily considering how much it got cherry-picked on album release week.

I think Adele has a 2nd week at #1 in the bag now, although I really don't know what'll happen the week after. Could be any of the top 3.

Adele has the second week sown up I think. The week after will be close but I think Nicki/Guetta might just snatch it. I can't see Kelly threatening for a while. She could end up doing a Pumped Up Kicks (I think?) and stalling at #3 for like forever.
I want to see 'The Wanted' at #1 in the US iTunes (or in the Hot 100!!! ), just for some big fun. For now, at the rate they're climbing, they have a shot. But we don't know where they are going to stall.
