Calvin: #70 (#73), #232 (#241), #693 (#657) - I'm thinking the weekend effect could be hurting him.

Ellie: #98 (#98), #334 (#290), #926 (#846) - Definitely weekend effect.

One Direction: #33 (#39) - Already on the rise again?!

Carrie's down to #3, Kelly up to #2.

Yeah, surprising to see 1D backing up the chart again. Hopefully The Wanted can leap into the Bb 100 top 15 next week then? (or top 10 ?)

I think The Wanted might actually get top 10 next week on the Billboard, I think top 12 is a certain though.

Why is Fun - We Are Young doing so good? It's had limited airplay, The Glee version is also so much better, which makes it quite sad tbh.

Due to the fact its in a car commercial which is played all the time and had its debut during the Super Bowl.

Could The Wanted actually do it and go all the way to number 1?! They're a bit closer than I thought they would be! :o It's a shame their success is being over shadowed by One Directions debut. :drama:

The changes since my last post:

For now, I can see The Wanted peaking at 3 on iTunes but #1 really seems doubtful esp. with Kelly's rising airplay and sales. I am stunned at fun.'s success given that airplay is very less and the only thing selling the car is a commercial which isn't even on TV that often. It must have good word of mouth.
I want to be glad The Wanted are top 3, but they knocked down Queen Carrie so I am out for their blood -_-
The Wanted are doing STUPIDLY WELL. I can't quite fathom why it's taken on such a lease of life in the US (although I do like it, but they have better), but good on them. I shall be cheering if they hit Top 10 on the Hot 100.
Bloody hell, top 10 officially seems assured for "Glad You Came" now. Would be amazing if it could make #1 if just to overshadow 1D's success - I regard both songs as pretty decent but for me the rest of The Wanted's back catalogue is far stronger.

That's very true. And call me uncool, but I actually like a lot of their songs probably because they're more boyband-dancey than the Boyzone/Westlife soppy ballads. "Gold forever" came on my iPod the other day and it was properly amazing!

I have found myself loving every single song that The Wanted have released :o They really are a credible act, so i'm glad they're getting recognition outside of the US

Hope they can climb into the Billboard top 10!
