Seeing as it's shooting up Itunes. Where do you think this will peak for Jessie. Unfortunetly this won't make no.1 but you can still hope. I do see it peaking top 10, say around 8/9.

I actually think seeing as there's pretty much nothing out it could reach as high as perhaps #04. It's #22 on iTunes already, and I'm guessing when it gets added on Radio 1 it'll climb even higher.

Its a complete Katy Perry rip off, but of all her other singles, I like this most and its catchy so I dont care if she's copying katy. I think top 20. They really are milking this album arent they?

Thats what you call a shit sandwiche. Actually no it isnt because its a good point sandwiched by 2 good points but still. Its a COMPLIMENT SANDWICH NOM.

I've said top 3, it's climbing very quickly on iTunes and it hasn't even got Radio 1 support yet. It's doing sehr well in the States as well, currently top 20 on US iTunes (higher than Price Tag ever was IIRC although I'm obviously not suggesting it'll be bigger than Price Tag here).

This is absolutely a Katy Perry ripoff but that still ranks it as better than her last 3 awful singles. Jessie has really disappointed me since Price Tag (I didn't like DILAD either so this is my 2nd favourite of hers by default).

^ Price Tag went top 10 on US iTunes at one point (and it had massive longevity despite its peak since it made the year-end top 100).

I think Domino will go top 10. It'll be very quiet in the charts in the next few weeks.

Did it? I don't remember it going any higher than about #24. I think Domino will go top 10 in the USA when its airplay builds up anyway.

It's looking to become a second hit for Jessie J over in the US - hopefully confirmation of a February release in the UK will help get some radio support - I'd love to see it go top 10, but a top 20 position will suffice; after all it is the sixth single.

It's the first single off the re-release though so this is irrelevant. #8 was a good peak for WYA given how late it was released, #8 would not be a good peak for Domino.

I think it'll do an All Night Long. It'll slowly climb to #4 or so, and then drop at a reasonable pace. Either way, I doubt it'll be as remembered as Who You Are, Price Tag and Do It Like A Dude. RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF GENERICNESS ALERT! :P

Should we compare this to Nobody's Perfect then since it's first post-album single of the re-release then? If so, #8 would be a good peak! :P

This could go all the way to #1 very slowly though, she will get nominations for the Brits, in the middle of Jan. The single is not out till Feb though if she gets a live performance at the Brits, it could be enough for a #1.

Cough Adele Cough I can see a pattern forming from last year, if she gets a live performance.

I don't think the Platinum Edition has sold anywhere near as much as the original album had by the time of NP's release. (#9 was arguably not that great a peak anyway after how massive Price Tag was).

My point is you can't use 'it's the [insert relatively large number]th single' as a justification for a low peak when a re-release is involved :P #20 is a decent peak for 'The One That Got Away' for example despite the first 5 singles going top 10 because there wasn't a re-release.

Another example of a low peak that can't be justified by lateness in release order is Tinie Tempah's Till I'm Gone. That just flopped and supposedly would have flopped if it was on the original album no matter when it was released.

I don't think Domino will peak that low though - as I said, I predict top 3 for it and I think #1 is a possibility.

Top 5 at the very least. I do agree it could easily go all the way if she performs it at the BRITS (it's pretty much certain she will perform, it's just a matter of what she sings).
I heard 'I feel so sexy and free, like glitter's raining on me' and I had to stop.
I am partial to Jessie J so obviously my view is biased, but I think this is the most radio- and TV-friendly (although not best) song Jessie has done since Price Tag. I chose top 5, but I think it could have massive sales in the long run.
I just thought if this gets number 1 in Feb sometime, it will be another gradual climber to number 1 not long after Coldplay, something we don't often get these days!

The thing is Jessie J can be dreadful live so if she just gave an auti pilot "screech" performance, it probably would still sell the single regardless but it wouldn't have the same impact as 'Someone Like You' did.

It does make me wonder though whether they will release any Brit Awards performances as single downloads. Cee Lo Green really benefitted from performing 'Forget You!' with Paloma Faith even if was a complete car crash on Paloma's behalf - still kept the original version high up the charts for a while so who knows.

'Someone Like You', 'Party Rock Anthem', 'Give Me Everything', 'We Found Love' (technically it reclimbed to #1). :P

It was a fairly mixed bag in 2011 of climbers to no. 1 and debuts at no. 1 with the only major low point being the extent of the dreaded "one week wonders" back in the Autumn - nobody in 12 months time will remember the #1s but probably just remember 'Moves Like Jagger' being at #2 for all those weeks.

I hope they do release the performances again. I also hope there are more mashups, like You Got The Dirtee Love from last year and We Bring The Stars Out/She Said Prayin' from this year. Creates some interesting chart entries :P

I think it will go top 5. I would like to think it could be her second #1, but I just can't see it, but I don't see top 5 being an unrealistic prospect, especially since it is already top 20 on iTunes and I am yet to hear it on the radio, or see the music video and it is not yet added to Radio 1's playlist.
