January 1, 201214 yr amazing how Rolling In The Deep completely trounced Someone Like You everywhere except here and Ireland, where that trounced everything else! I do wonder just what would've happened had she never performed it on the BRITs The reason for this is because 'Someone Like You' has only started to do well recently in central Europe. There's the possibility of 'SLY' being high in most European countries' Best of 2012 charts. Interesting point made though re; The Brits. Adele had two versions of 'SLY' charting so the combined sales allowed the track sell over 100k for three weeks. What is more impressive is how the track increased its sales in those weeks. Otherwise we might've had another 2010 situation where the biggest selling single of 2011 was a UK #2 hit. Also big thanks to Gezza for counting down the thread for us as it unfolded. Was also good to see the weekly peak sales figures included. LOL at the amount of UK #1 singles that failed to make the top 40. :D
