Probably, alas like Moves Like Jagger again, but you never know. I'd say T.H.E will go to #1 on 12th Feb, Hot Right Now on 19th Feb and Rockstar on 4th March and Wild Ones could be a threat to them all though (don't think it has a release date yet?). Of course I could be overpredicting those four but the fake versions suggest they will be big anyway. Gotye could of course become really big itself and stop them or take advantage of a more quiet release week. As soon as Gotye went top 10 in Ireland it went to #1 in a few days so who knows.

 

 

I'm not totally convinced with T.H. E. yet, its a good track but it lacks something. I have second reservations of the track not reaching #1, I guess some members thought SHM was going to #1 which is hardly likely now, I have the feeling T.H.E will do the same.

Wow, just listened to it and this is really good, it's very 'Eurovision meets The Corrs' so therefore perfect for my tastes!

I downloaded it yesterday because I noticed it Top 200, listened to the iTunes clip and liked it alot! (Plus it is 59p. :P) :D

RIP Etta James. Surprised that her cover of 'I Just Wanna Make Love to You' hasn't made as big an impact yet even though 1) It's her only top 10 hit to date, and 2) It was featured in one of the most iconic adverts of the 90s:

Bruce Springsteen's track is available for those who pre-order his album, so even if it does sell enough to make the chart, it probably will be DQ'd due to the "Coldplay Rule".

Etta James's chart history before now is almost non-existent - a few weeks of 'I Just Wanna Make Love To You' in 1996 (cus of the Diet Coke ad linked earlier) and four weeks of 'At Last' in 2010-2011, never peaking higher than #69. Hope it finally gets its deserved top 40 placing.

 

Meanwhile, Mama Do The Hump has been reduced to 59p!! :o
