Rizzle Kicks weren't officially credited on 'Teardrop' so I wouldn't count it in their discography. (Also Down With The Trumpets charted before Heart Skips A Beat anyway so their discography would go 8-1-8-1 :P)

What is an official crediting? In my opinion crediting is what's on the cover, and they were on the cover, like all the other artists in the song.

Probably not, it's too 'alternative'. Doubt they played "Paradise" until it was in the top 5, maybe until it was #1.

 Tehn songs hang around for ages as the capital audience hears a trrack!!

Surely they're jsut the collective - otherwise what is the collective if all the artists are also listed as being featured (if that makes sense)

They may as well have omitted the collective bit and just listed all the acts singing on it

That's a very good point. I would just keep "The Collective" credited on 'Teardrop' and omit the individual acts. It's like The X Factor Finalists being credited on 'Hero' (for example). There's no sign of "Alexandra Burke, JLS, Eoghan Quigg, Diana Vickers, Ruth Lorenzo" etc. Same with 'Wishing On A Star' - there's no "Little Mix, Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily, Misha B, Janet Devlin" etc. Nor should there be tbh. It should just be "The X Factor Finalists 2011".

On a side note, 'Hero', 'You Are Not Alone', 'Heroes' and 'Wishing On A Star' are all credited under The X Factor Finalists despite actually having different singers on each of the tracks.

Kelly Clarkson  to #6.

I know it will never happen but imagine Kelly surprisingly bagging a second UK #1 with WDKY! And to think I was sure this would peak lower than 'Already Gone' a month ago.

EDIT: Also, Kelly Rowland - Lay It On Me  to #63! When did this happen? :o

As I said they were all listed on the cover

Although it is arguable if these are real creditings

Oh and while I was searching for the cover this picture came up :o

Sure like that picture really came up by "accident".

Surprised at Ron Paul supporting Kelly climbing so much.

I hope there is a slim chance that Rizzle Kicks will get a No 1.

Gotye  #13

Awesome, both songs getting near to the kind of positions they deserve  Bought Kelly yesteday too :D

I was worried kelly wouldn't even bother a top 100 position let alone get into the top 10! :D

I would just say its showing you who is in the Collective as opposed to an offical crediting. I mean on itunes and the R1 website when the song charted for its brief week it was only ever credited as 'The Collective'

Pleased to see Kelly Clarkson overtaking Pixie Lott - 'Kiss the Stars' is an atrocious release, while 'What Doesn't Kill You' is actually pretty decent. Shame to see 'Mama Do The Hump' overtaking 'Titanium', but to reach #2 it'll have to sell more than 'Titanium' and 'Antidote'. Jessie J looking ever more likely to claim #1 for a second week now, let's just hope Rizzle Kicks don't snatch it from her next week.

I am thinking it will be Lana's week next week, and I really hope so. 'Born To Die' is just stunning and deserves to be MASSIVE.

Well Rizzle Kicks haven't got it in their chart history on Polyhex. Neither have Ed Sheeran or Ms Dynamite. So I don't think we should include them. I always thought we followed by Polyhex's peaks?

Like all the songs credited to the England World Cup Squad with different lineups over the years

But it's a bit silly don't cha think? :P

It should be "The X Factor Finalists 2008/2009/2010/2011" imo (btw obviously not listed as exactly that - but I think you know what I mean :P).

I really get the feeling that Lana won't be number one next week. Maybe top 3 but not #1. I'll probably be wrong though.

The X Factor finalists WERE credited with the years, were they not?
