January 26, 201213 yr Isn't it Labrinth's next single, not Tinie's ... http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a36...-last-time.html
January 28, 201213 yr Author Isn't it Labrinth's next single, not Tinie's ... http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a36...-last-time.html Ah, that explains it then :P Capital have it listed as Tinie Tempah, how odd.
January 28, 201213 yr Here's a live performance from last summer's "Ibiza Rocks": r3_jhzcTVsk It sounds decent, but obviously that's a very low quality recording. I'm looking forward to it anyway; 'Earthquake' was one of my favourite songs of 2011.
January 28, 201213 yr Author As there doesn't seem to be a thread for Labrinth's album, should I just turn this thread into one? :P Done so anyway~ Edited January 28, 201213 yr by Bré
January 28, 201213 yr :o syco are stupid to realse it on the same day as elephant. If this beat alex to number 1, syco will not be around a day later >:(
January 29, 201213 yr Alex is no longer with Syco, is she? According to her official Vevo account she still is. The remix of `Elephant` is copy-write of 2012 Simco Limited. Apparently, its a joint deal with RCA, but she hasn't completely left Syco as reported. I really liked `Earthquake`, definitely a highlight from last year, I look forward to hearing his album.
January 30, 201213 yr It's more in the Let the Sun Shine direction. It's okay. I love the vocal effects on it, and it sounds very summery. I don't think it's as good as Earthquake though. I can see this being a #1.
January 30, 201213 yr Hmm...it's no Earthquake is it... A grower perhaps but if it does get to #1 then it will be in and back out of the charts in a matter of weeks.
January 30, 201213 yr This sounds like something Taio Cruz would release, major disappointment after my second favourite song of last year 'Earthquake'.
January 30, 201213 yr Hmm...it's no Earthquake is it... A grower perhaps but if it does get to #1 then it will be in and back out of the charts in a matter of weeks. Yeah, like Pass Out did?
January 30, 201213 yr Well it sounds nothing like 'Pass Out'... 'Earthquake' does so has performed similarly to that. 'Last Time' sounds like a mash-up of 'Let the Sun Shine' and Taio Cruz's latest work, so will probably perform similarly in the charts to those. (Just to add, this is crap). Edited January 30, 201213 yr by THEO.
January 30, 201213 yr If the song is really bad, it probably won't get to #1 in the first place then. The vast majority of held-back songs don't get to #1.
January 30, 201213 yr Yeah, like Pass Out did? Are you comparing this to Pass Out? That's a modern British classic and sounded so fresh at the time (and still does to an extent). This is leagues behind it... The vast majority of held-back songs by majorly hyped British artists DO get to #1, and drop away incredibly quickly if they don't have much widespread appeal.
