February 25, 201213 yr I know this won't be important to anyone else but I'm so relieved. I thought I'd lost all my music for the past couple of months and, worse still, an application form that I've been writing and perfecting for many an evening over the past 2 weeks for a job that closes on Monday. I was somewhat distraught yesterday! My laptop died mid TBO and my exams once. It's the worst feeling in the world. Thank god for small miracles, hopefully its a promising sign for that job!
February 25, 201213 yr That must be a relief Dandy! :o. Losing all your music can really be a pain as I've lost everything due to a virus twice already so I know how you feel :drama: Also good luck in your job application as well :D Edited February 25, 201213 yr by Oricon
February 25, 201213 yr Author It was! I never realised just how much I relied upon my mac until last night. First thing I'm doing now is backing it up properly!
February 25, 201213 yr After the first listen, absolutely loathe ther verses on this. After this and Radioactive, I really am doubting the quality of this album.
February 25, 201213 yr My computer refused to turn on the day I had to start working on my graduation paper in order to survive at Uni. Seriously the worst feeling ever. Even had to buy a laptop within 3 days, and the broken PC is still collecting dust 8 months later. After the first listen, absolutely loathe ther verses on this. I understand how you must've felt. I can remember back in November 2006 when I went to start up my PC and it failed massively. Apparantly my computer got a "monkey virus" where when you boot up a computer, it loads then just as it's supposed to load your computer (where you see your wallpaper and icons) it started loading again as if you'd gone to restart the computer. In my case I had use my utility disk to get my PC back to normal but ultimatly lost everything. Ever since then, I've been a complete back up loonatic - try and back up as regularly as possible as it's too easy to think "I'll save this tomorrow" because you just never know when you're computer is going to die. So I'm really happy you've managed to restore your iMac back to normal without losing valueable work/mp3s/photographs.
February 25, 201213 yr Glad to hear your mac is OK Dandy :D Good luck with the job application too! It just occurred to me my change of entry may be veto'd, the artist is much bigger in her home country than Darin is in Sweden :drama: I love my first choice as well though, so all is good, it'sjust good to actually send what is genuinely my fave song right now!
February 25, 201213 yr Author I'm glad your mac is working Dandy*! Have I missed the deadline? :o You have but send now - it's currently an odd number!
February 25, 201213 yr That must be a relief Dandy! :o. Losing all your music can really be a pain as I've lost everything due to a virus twice already so I know how you feel :drama: Even if everything seems to be deleted, there are ways of retrieving lost data; I once almost managed to delete all of my music files, but I remember someone telling me what's lost is just the information about the files' whereabouts - and not information about the file itself. Or something like that. Either way I downloaded a recovery program and that found and recovered everything I thought I had lost! ^_^
February 25, 201213 yr You have but send now - it's currently an odd number! Sent it! So sorry, I thought the deadline was later this evening!

I think the situation is a bit different, Darin has come Top 3 in BJSC twice now, and nearly won once. Carrie, sorry to spill but it's not like it's not obvious, isn't run of the mill BJSC fare at all, infact, I doubt many people at all will have heard of it, as most don't really care for country.
February 25, 201213 yr Expect obvious tracks that do well in the finals, obvious tracks that are destined to flop and tracks which go flying everywhere and land in unexpected places. :D
February 25, 201213 yr Liam, if you've sent Carrie Underwood then expect some very high pointage from me! Both the country songs I sent (Nothing Better To Do, I Wonder) failed to qualify. Although, I havn't actually heard her new song yet but I'm hoping she's sticking to past form! Edited February 25, 201213 yr by LexC
February 25, 201213 yr If it helps my favourite song of hers was Cowboy Cascanova (or however you spell it). :D
February 25, 201213 yr I can honestly say the song I've entered is one of my favourites in quite a while, so I really hope it can get me back on form.
February 25, 201213 yr I would say mine is a return to form but tbh, I've never really had a great record when it comes to BJSC. I'd prefer to say it's the best I've entered for some time!
February 25, 201213 yr Mine would hopefully let me break the Bottom 5 final curse for the past 3 contests :D
