And the point you made about it only finishing 6th sort of backs my point that Darin, doesn't necessarily need to be veto'd. :lol: Also, I don't see as much hype around Darin as there was for Tone Damli 'Look Back'.

 

But anyway, I have a back up now so I'll move on and I'm sure others have had tracks veto'd when they didn't deserve to be etc..

Joking, but I can see arguments for Darin being vetoed (I've already seen it in 10? personal charts!), however I also agree with Jonjo that it was essentially the same as a few other songs that have slipped into the contest and predictably done extremely well with a huge level of hype around them. I don't necessarily agree with all of the vetoing/non-vetoing decisions made but I'm just thankful that I don't have to be the one to do it! The mods don't always all agree with each other either, as far as I know it goes to a majority vote to decide. If only one of the four mods wants it vetoed then it won't be, so Silas couldn't have done it by himself.

I will apologise for my rant. I read the PM just as I re awoke from my sleep and I really had no idea there was talk about Darin in a previous thread and wouldn't have bothered to send it had I read it myself. (Not worth the hassle :lol:) So I apologise for that.

Lights got veto'ed as well 3-4 contests ago when I tried to send 'Toes' which was far from being cheap and for matter fact, not as cheap as Darin or Tone IMO , but I guess mods are superior than us and know things better than we do...with that being said, I would like not to be in their skin cause it's not easy for them as well to come up with decisions.

My one's available on iTunes but a) - I'm not sure that's an p3 or another kind of file and b) - I wouldn't want the host to have to spend money on sourcing the audio file.
