iTunes Popularity Bars

I'd love to see N****s in Paris and Rack City top 40  Buzzjack's reaction to RC in the chart show would be hilarious

Well, I haven't heard either of them, for obvious reasons... but at least there's *one* whose title Reggie could read out on air...

Go on vidcapper. Start the new thread right now. You know you want to. :D

I only start statistical/analytical threads, fortunately. :)

Of course One Direction were always shoe-in to win that, have you not seen how rabid their insane fans are? One look at Twitter would tell you.

But Adele apparently has 4 million fans - surely there can't be more than one tenth as many oestrogen-overdosed adolescent girls?

A reminder there is a BRITS thread in the Lounge to discuss the awards perfs.

But some of us don't visit The Lounge...

 23. We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) - Rihanna

Adele still at 25 with Rolling In The Deep - must just not be having that big an effect then. We'll see how the live version does anyway.

Not really much of a BRITs effect in general as of yet. It was a pretty underwhelming ceremony.

The bigger boost is normally for albums, and we won't really see the full effect of that until the Friday mids.

By the looks of the BRITs website it looks like only Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, Olly Murs and Blur x3 have actually been released to iTunes... I really hope they're planning to add the rest later

I'll do a full update of the BRITs performers in the top 300 tomorrow morning.

I would have done this by now had my internet not decided to refuse to connect for ages - I will do one for certain when I get home from school though :P

In any case...

218. Charlie Brown (Live from The BRITs) - Coldplay

298. No Light, No Light (Live from The BRITs) - Florence + The Machine

[***] 176| BIGBANG - Blue

:o

More K-pop in the UK chart :cheer: Can anyone remember where did Girls' Generation - The Boys enter and peak?

Will these chart seperatly, or will they be combined with the originals?

They'll be combined, it's no different to releasing a remix - it's still the same song so it counts to the same total.

:o

I can't remember where Girls Generation peaked, but Blue are high all around the world aswell.

That type of music might be big in the US soon, since I read one of the record labels there has done a deal where they will promote artists from that part of Asia in the US, and in return US artists will be promoted in that part of Asia. It'll probably take a lot longer to become big in the UK though.

Blur

I'm guessing only one of their perf's is available to download?

I think a lot of the "fans" you speak of were more casual purchasers, and I think a lot of the people who bought Adele's album have better things to do than spend all day voting again and again for One Direction like their fans did.
