Somebody That I Used To Know the fifth song to return to #1 in this decade after Bad Romance, Just The Way You Are, Someone Like You and We Found Love

The chorus to me is amazing aswell.

Other highlights of the song to me are the "boing" sounds and the military-sounding drums that come in after about 45 seconds (and at other points in the song), and also at the end where Kimbra sings the "aaa-aaaa-aaah"s and "ooo-ooooo-oooh"s.

My personal highlights of 'STIUTK' are the entire song. :D

The way it starts off quiet and slowly builds up with the "baa baa black sheep" melody, then the almost whispered vocals continue building up. Then it suddenly goes up a gear with the first chorus and everything gets louder. Then it calms down again after the chorus and along comes Kimbra's whispered vocals. Then Kimbra's verse builds up into the final chorus where all the vocals are loud with the extra "ahh ahhh" backing vocals.

It's a musical journey of a loving relationship going horrib;y wrong. I can hear the pain.

The video is amazing too - very arty!! this generations Take on Me nearly!!
