February 26, 201214 yr Author 07. (-) Bush - Swallowed (38,000)* Wow, forgot that they have a proper hit single. The Sound of Winter is a brilliant song from their latest album. I think that was the knock on effect from No Doubt being #1 from memory.......

February 26, 201214 yr Author Today from 6pm the Chart show will be Video Jockey Style. Oh yeah forgot about that :/
February 26, 201214 yr What does that even mean though? Presumably he will still talk? Also I can reveal that at least one of the top 10 songs doesn't have a video :o My BF told me the other day I look like Huw Stephens - don't know if that's a compliment or not :/
February 26, 201214 yr Hi everyone :D '21' for #1, 'Charlie Brown' for top 30 and 'Niggas In Paris' for top 40 please. That is all. (Well, 'Someone Like You' + 'Rolling In The Deep' for top 30 and 'Set Fire To The Rain' for top 40 as well, but not overly bothered about those :kink:) Gotye should definitely be back at #1 today (I assume I'm allowed to say that as it says that in the first post :P) but fingers crossed he's increased sales again. MW being stingy with the sales info means it's a bit of a mystery. Edited February 26, 201214 yr by Bré
February 26, 201214 yr What does that even mean though? Presumably he will still talk? Also I can reveal that at least one of the top 10 songs doesn't have a video :o check this out http://www.theofficialcharts.com/features/...eggie-yates812/ I wonder if the show will have new beds and stings today, to make it sound more like a chart show.. I doubt it
February 26, 201214 yr Woo for 'Lexis a year ago. That made her a two-hit wonder. :kink: Let me see, Gotye for #1, Charlie Brown for getting a good position, top ten for Ass Back Home, and that's all I can think of right now.
February 26, 201214 yr Hope Emeli has held on, the number of one-week album #1s is getting just as ridiculous as the singles. At least with the latter we could have a non-mover next week I guess. Oh and The Throne for top 40. And YAY for "Ruby"!
February 26, 201214 yr Afternoon all :D 2011 01. (1) Adele - Someone Like You (114,792) (I can't deny its a modern classic and deservedly so, just a very overexposed one at that...) 02. (2) Jessie J - Price Tag ft BoB (80,568) 07. (7) Bruno Mars - Grenade (39,800)* 08. (3) Lady Gaga - Born This Way (38,819) 2007 01. (2) Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby (38,000) (I was very glad to see this at number 1 although I'm sure most of Buzzjack wasn't  I would've preferred if it was I Predict a Riot or Oh My God though...) 02. (1) Mika - Grace Kelly (32,000) 03. (15) Kelis & Cee Lo - Lil Star (18,000) 05. (7) Fray - How To Save A Life (15,500) 06. (4) Just Jack - Starz In Their Eyes (14.800)* 07. (8) Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape (14,600)* 09. (5) Fall Out Boy - This Ain't A Scene It's An Arms Race (12,100)* 10. (11) Take That - Shine (11,000) (I just can't associate this with anything other than Morrisons now, still a good song though) 2002 01. (-) Westlife - World Of Our Own (75,143) 02. (1) Enrique Iglesias - Hero (60,000) 03. (-) Kylie Minogue - In Your Eyes (52,000) (one of my favourite Kylie songs!) 04. (-) R Kelly - The World's Greatest (48,000)* 08. (5) Pink - Get The Party Started (29,000)* 1997 01. (1) No Doubt - Don't Speak (140,000) (classic, very much deserved massive sales  ) 02. (-) Sash! - Encore Une Fois (98,000) 03. (-) The Source - You Got The Love {1997} (61,000)* Gotye should be number 1 today :D I also hope Charlie Brown has got a decent position Edited February 26, 201214 yr by C.W
February 26, 201214 yr How on Earth Gym Class Heroes OF ALL BANDS have only top ten singles and five of them (if ABH is there this week, that is, which is likely)???
February 26, 201214 yr Hope Emeli has held on, the number of one-week album #1s is getting just as ridiculous as the singles. At least with the latter we could have a non-mover next week I guess. There was a non-mover at #1 on the albums just 2 weeks ago :P But yeah, I'm surprised no one has really mentioned the 1-week #1 albums - if James Morrison hadn't snuck a second week at #1 we would have had 18 changes of the #1 album in a row. (Since 'Back To Black' the only non-movers at #1 we've had were The Awakening, Christmas and Born To Die).
