Posted February 27, 201213 yr OqkoybVQ_VA I think this is her debut solo single, apparently. Pretty good on first listen, I do think she could be a new Jessie J type figure. I was hoping for more of a Yasmin/Katy B direction for her, but this was inevitable! Looking forward to hearing more from her :D I think this could be huge....
February 27, 201213 yr I like it but I was hoping/expecting for something a bit more urban personally. Still decent even if it is just a complete ripoff of Last Friday Night/Domino.
February 27, 201213 yr Not sold. Can't this girl do something that's interesting? A Katy B/Yasmin direction would have been nice. I'm not getting anything interesting yet. She does have potential, not seeing that here. Will probably be big if pushed though.
February 27, 201213 yr This is only her US single. The debut single for the UK samples Nneka's Heartbeat, and features Tinie Tempah - which I think shows she'll be going in more of an urban direction than this, but it's a safe debut for the US market. I have good sources for this information :kink:

February 27, 201213 yr this is okay, but I much prefer 'hot right now'. her voice sounds really good though so I eagerly await her UK single. :D
February 28, 201213 yr I knew about the Tinie Tempah feature but I wasn't aware Rita's UK single samples 'Heartbeat' - VERY EXCITED for it now hearing that information. I loved Heartbeat. (Mostly the Chase & Status remix naturally but I liked the original version as well).
February 28, 201213 yr More details for the first UK single, it's called 'RIP', written by Drake, produced by Chase & Status and Stargate - further pointing this towards being a lot more edgy than this.
February 28, 201213 yr That sounds... epic *.* Chase & Status, Drake and Tinie Tempah on the same song (well, Drake only as a writer, but w/e). And it samples 'Heartbeat'. This is shaping up to be the BEST THING EVER. Edited February 28, 201213 yr by Bré
February 29, 201213 yr Here's 'R.I.P'! So good! Could this topic be just changed a Rita Ora general topic please, think it'd be more appropriate? Edited February 29, 201213 yr by ROBOT
February 29, 201213 yr This is amazing on first listen  Only gripe is the sample sounds a little bit out of place at times.
February 29, 201213 yr AMAZING. This is what I wanted her debut to be like, not that Katy Perry rip off.
February 29, 201213 yr She is so overrated :( Both 'Party & Bullshit' and 'R.I.P' are so boring! And she's not exactly vocally there either.
February 29, 201213 yr I'm not quite sure about the track overall on first listen but I'm sure it'll grow as I really like the use of sample.
February 29, 201213 yr I'm not to sure, I feel this may be a grower. Is it just me that feels the vocal doesn't sound quite right with the instrumental?
March 1, 201213 yr it sounds weird because Drake wrote and released this song ages ago and now she's releasing it as a single: Drake's version:
