It took long enough for it to get to 8

But seriously, woo for Emeli I guess. 7/10 of the weeks of the year so far have had a female soloist at #1 on the albums chart (Adele 3 times, Lana Del Rey and Emeli Sandé twice each).

And something freaky I just noticed:

Adele

Lana Del Rey

Adele Sandé (Emeli's real name)

Wasn't it after the X Factor performance by Little Mix?

This has had an INSANE run so far.

I think it was ages before that! I think LM performance actually made it re-enter the top 40

Wild Ones is going to rack up some impressive sales. A huge achievement for Flo Rida because usually his second singles flop (think Sugar, Turn Around). I love it so muchhh :D . Has his album been released yet?

I don't think it took that long. I think it was just during the summer due to lots of radio airplay. It's music video was released like 3 months before (the same day that the Judas video was released), but it only got it to #50 or something at first.

How do you watch the chart?

I remember Super Bass, Set Fire To The Rain and Bass Down Low all being stuck at #11-#13 for ages. First Bass Down Low cracked Top 10 and then dropped down the chart pretty fast. Super Bass cracked it next and managed to still hold up really well. SFTTR didn't but still sold loads!

It's a shame Dappy held #2, an awful drop coming up next week. I can see it going 2-15 actually!
Starships top 5 :cheer: I much prefer the Moment for Life/Right Thru Me Nicki, but she's good when she's all crazy too

Marry You was another one that was stuck between #11 - #13 for weeks. Unfortunately it didn't make the top ten either but still sold about 400K did it not?

I'm surprised Dappy got #2 after how fast he fell at the end of the week. I really love this whole top 3 though.

Good tune from them, but very odd video from them.
