Wow. This thread is so active whenever Alexandra has a new song out.

I think she will actually get top 5 now officially, but only at #5 (I know she's higher on iTunes now, but I think it's likely that she'll start falling soon, probably on Wednesday or tommorrow).

Shes gonna have pretty big pre-orders though as the E.P was made available for preorder over a month ago.

HEAR HEAR!

 33 Dappy feat Brian May - Rockstar

Making some ground up, will definitely struggle with its chart position this week!

I'll be AMAZED if Plan B gets to #1. Top 5 maybe, but hell I'd be surprised if it even charts ahead of that (vile) new Chris Brown song

521. We Are Young - Music Magnet

^ Can't everything just be on-air on-sale again? :(

I think Tweamburke will organise a download day for Alex later this week. Not sure why RCA do not have her doing more promotion this week. If it was McFly or the Saturdays they would be everywhere doing everything no matter what. Just excited because the airplay has been poor and there are those hoping she would fall flat on her face.

We've had 3 British #1s this year, far more than any other nationality (1 each of American, Barbadian, French and Belgian/Australian) :P

People are predicting a #1 for Plan B? I can't see it. I think the best it'll do is about #3. Obviously it'd be a fantastic #1 though (and make it at least temporarily the second year in a row where my favourite song of the year has got to #1 )

She's had loads of promo!

Lets' dance

Daybreak

This Morning tomorrow

No doubt another performance too...

a full blown radio tour.

I reckon she'll peak at 3 this week, which is a big fat slap in the face for Capital & Radio 1 who for some reason seem to snub her.

It's got alot of hype around it. The video will probably gain alot of attention because of it's content (especially after the riots last year and the state of the UK climate), plus he picked up a big fanbase from the Strickland Bank stuff. I can't see it being anything other than a #1.

She has done the same promo she always does, I am not cussing it though. It does not compare to what the Sats or McFly would do though. They constantly tweet their fans, they would be on every kids show, having signings.

Sigh, I wouldn't be surprised if that shot to number 1 while Plan B struggled to get top 5 tbh  I really can't see Plan B going to number 1, top 5 maybe, but it doesn't strike me as the sort of song that would be a big seller (its really good though so I hope it does)

That Chris Brown song is awful (probably even worse than Yeah 3x, I at least enjoyed the Calvin Harris sample in that song), so yes, it'll probably do better than that amazing Plan B song... :(

Glad that Dappy has been re-added, but he's still probably going to fall to like #35 this week now. :drama: He was holding up pretty well until he got deleted. I could've seen him spending a 3rd week in the top 20, as he was not far outside the top 10 yesterday morning.

Labrinth may throw a spanner in the works next week. I hope so anyways because I much prefer 'Last Time' to 'Proud' and we'd still have a British act at #1. :D JLS are slowly being transformed into an urban Westlife which really isn't where they should be heading. Stick to pure urban pop like 'Beat Again' and 'Everybody In Love' and just avoid dreary non songs like 'Take A Chance On Me' and maybe JLS will finally get another UK #1. 'Proud' may get there but it'll rocket out of the chart within weeks.

I do like 'Turn Up The Music' but it's essentially just a much weaker 'Yeah 3x". The video is boring (how many times does he need to dress as Michael Jackson?), the lyrics are awful and there's clearly been no time or effort put into it.

I'd probably say 'at least Plan B will sell more albums' but i'm not so sure with this era either.

Alex can pass Sande anytime. Nicki could go top with Gotye falling, hopefully alex can overtake !

I think Kworb is fixed!

Currently showing Gotye 1.0000, Nicki Minaj 0.7808, Alexandra 0.7006, Emeli 0.6264

Ooh, it does indeed look like Kworb is fixed :D Nicki has still made virtually no progress on Gotye at all so it'll be an easy 5th week as I'd expect Alexandra is close to peaking and will start falling heavily soon (although I think she has a good shot at being top 3 officially anyway).

Tinchy has a huge lead over #11 (as per for the #10) so Niggas In Paris probably isn't heading for the top 10 any time soon :( Maybe it can get to #11 then something in the top 10 can get deleted so it climbs into the top 10 by default
