I thought the video for 'Party Rock Anthem' was actually pretty unique - despite the fact it was quite simply people dancing. I think the video, and the fact it had a story, was a real factor in its success. Similarly with 'Sexy and I Know It', it's trash, but the video is pretty hilarious (well it was).

Yet to hear 'Sorry for Party Rocking', will try and avoid it for as long as possible.

Am I the only one who thinks 'Rack City' is atrocious? I really can't see the appeal at all.

I've never met someone who doesn't like it in real life, but I think most people on this website will hate it.

I think it's a fantastic song. A very interesting array of sounds in it (something which we can't say for like 97% of the chart hits in the past few years...). And memorable lyrics too.

Most of my friends like it, one of them was singing (well rapping) it in Sociology for like 2 hours the other day which annoyed me as I'm just indifferent to the song

It's different though I guess, which is good.

And memorable lyrics too.

 he must say 'rack city bitch' over 50 times in that song. I've played it 35 times on my iTunes, it's a great song  even if it's different to the clubby music taste that I have (it is obvious that I love the new LMFAO song :P)

I like the 'hunnet, hunnet' part of it

Yeah, I like that part too, although apparently he's actually saying "Throwin' hundreds, hundreds" at that part. Perhaps he's incapable of pronouncing a "dr" sound or something.

I have it stuck in my head a lot. It's great, but I'm really scared I'm accidently going to start saying the song out loud one day, at a really inappropriate moment. :drama:

I am no fan, but I do like the ridiculousness of 'Sexy & I Know It' and love how it doesn't take itself too seriously. I also think 'SFPR' is just harmless fun, however the other two are awful.

I agree with this, absolutely love Lissie altogether and I really like her cover of Go Your Own Way. I would love it to do really well but I just hope it god it's not overplayed to the point of me hating it like bloody Charlene Soraia's version of Wherever You Will Go was...

I think if it went top 20 then it would be a perfect success for her, sort of 'Birdy- Skinny Love'.

Its still a crime that 'When Im alone' 'Cuckoo' and 'Everywhere I go' didn't even go top 50.

Such a great version of the song IMO

Agreed, Queen Santana is totally on form <3

Also, yay for Azealia Banks, hope she can get top 40 officialy!

Also, does anyone know when the Scissor Sisters' new song 'Shady Love' is being released? It's been pushed back.

I think it's just been cancelled altogether I heard :(

Tinchy Stryder seems to have started falling now, but he should have top 10 secured for this week now. I'm pleased it's done so well.

Slightly off-topic, but for those who think Dappy is free-falling, Far East Movement's new single in the US, which was released 7 days ago (last Tuesday 28th February), on air, on sale, went straight to #2 on iTunes, and is now currently at #48. Check for yourselves if you don't belive me. It has fallen from #2 to outside of the top 40 in the space of 1 week. So on air, on sale doesn't prevent this sort of thing. And this type of thing happens regularly aswell, ask the others who follow US iTunes.

Ugh, and it's annoying to see Rack City down to #33. I would love for it to make the top 40 this week, but I think it'll need to climb more to be safely in there.

For those doubting 'Rack City', have a listen of 'Faded' featuring Lil Wayne and 'Far Away' featuring American Idol finalist Chris Richardson. I've held off buying 'Rack City', instead waiting for the album - it's had really good reviews from what I've read - just annoyed that they pushed it back until Monday - was originally scheduled for February 21.

A lot of new 'rap' entries this week actually, Tinchy, StooShe (to an extent), Azealia Banks, Tyga, Rihanna + Jay-Z.

Sorry For Party Rocking is probably even worse than Sexy & I Know It, and I really didn't think that could even be possible :/ I agree PRA had some appeal even if I wasn't too fond myself, and I actually really really liked Champagne Showers (I know, I'm alone) for my shame, but Sexy And I Know It and especially SFPR have literally no redeeming features at all, total and utter shit (imo of course for the loons who may attack me).

I sincerely hope LMFAO don't have any loons! :o
