ill Manners is awesome but it's no where near as radio friendly as She Said I'd love to see it do well but i don't really seeing it being a big chart hit.

 

Yeah. She Said was radio friendly enough that Heart FM were able to play it with little editing (i.e. replacing the rap verse with a massive instrumental section). This song, I can't see them possibly playing it whatever editing they do, it's much less radio friendly. There's not much of a melody either, neither in the beat nor the vocals, so radio also wouldn't like it from that aspect. I can see Radio 1 supporting it, but that's not always enough to make a song big.

I've never liked them or any of their songs. I'll admit 'Party Rock Anthem' sounds amazing at parties/clubs/whatever and I thought the 'wiggle' part in 'Sexy and I Know It' was hilarious, but that's as far as it went with me. I'm bored of seeing them on every music channel and i'd never dream of putting any of their material on my iPod. How they've had this much success baffles me.

No, Capital haven't played Elephant very much. Infact, Radio 1 have probably played it more than Capital. :lol:

 

I agree, it seems like the sort of thing Capital would like. Maybe they're not playing it because The Silence didn't do that well.

 

The Silence didn't do that bad, it was 6th single off a huge selling album and had been out for a year and two months before promotion as a single.

Nice to see Bad Girls and 212 haven't fallen too much from the weekend effect yet. Sunday will probably damage them more but I was waiting for Bad Girls to fell to like #50 or something again so I'm pleased to see it hanging on to the top 30.
