It's strange that the Telegraph refer to the fastest selling album in the headline and the sub-header but say nothing about it in the main story.

Just looked at the Mirror story as well and it's dated yesterday at midnight so, unless pre-orders were absolutely massive, the story is utter bollocks.
'Bright Lights' isn't from her album so it doesn't really count.

(Before you say it, I know there's a 'Bright Lights Part 2' on there - but that's not the same thing).

Young Foolish Happy does have more top 10 hits than Turn It Up anyway though, as Turn It Up only spawned two top 10 hits while Young Foolish Happy has 3.

Bright lights is from Pixie's album. The radio version is slightly more rappy but she still features in it so I fail to understand your argument that its not a 4th top10 single from young foolish happy.

Ive heard both the album version part 2 & radio and they arent loads different. Pixies album version I prefer but she features in the radio version, which originates from her album so I cant see why it woukdnt be counted as a 4th top10 hit from her 2nd album.

Because it isn't a single from her album, quite simply. It's not her release and it isn't being used to promote her album.

I think all of that is totally irrevelant. She is featured on both versions, the radio version being a different version to the album version but lots of artists often release a different radio version.

But it's a single from HIS upcoming album. It's like saying 'Read All About It' is a single from Emeli Sande's album.

The fact that it's not a single for her album is irrelevant when claiming that it's not a single from her album? Okay.

Military Wifes are currently number one on amazon charts but two versions of the Springsteen album in the top 10, I'll be annoyed if he's kept off number one

Military Waves? Is that something to do with the Navy?

Well maybe you should check out Melanie C & Bryan Adam's 1998 release of "When you're gone", this was a single off his album and released on his record label but Mel C is still credited with the release as a single in the Guinness British Hit Singles & Albums 2004 book. I'm pretty sure the Emeli Sande track you refer to will be treated as the same and the latest Pixie track.

Yes, but it's not on HER album so she doesn't have four top 10 singles off HER album.

It is on HER album, I've got the album, its just a different version to the radio version.

Yes, I accept it counts in its own right in her chart history. However, it is NOT a single from her album.

A different version of the song being on her album has a different meaning entirely.

A remix of 'I Gotta Feeling' is on David Guetta's 'One Love' album. That doesn't make it a single from the album.
According to Facebook OCC, Bruce Springsteen has the #1 album and Military Wives the #2 album.

So that story was COMPLETELY fabricated then? Thank God. Fingers crossed Bruce can hold it, with Mother's Day next week the Wives might climb to the top (or maybe Adele :D) but they should evacuate the chart quickly after that.

Yea some crap from the OCC:

"Military Wives, are breathing down The Boss’s neck, after three day’s sales have been counted, and there's still four more days to go - including the crucial Mother's Day shopping weekend when the Wives‘ fans are expected to come out in large numbers."

Well let's hope that there's more people like my mum out there, who's a massive Springsteen fan and I'm sure would find the idea of an album by the Military Wives completely abhorrent.
I'd really liked to have seen the Military Wives Choir at number one, except for the fact it's an album that is 80% covers of songs we've heard so many times before

30+9 - Rihanna & Jay-Z 'Talk That Talk'

30+8 - LMFAO 'Party Rock Anthem'

Don't think Azealia Banks or Tyga will appear in this update then, if LMFAO are yet to drop out and Rihanna, the higher of the three on iTunes, is only at 39.
