March 11, 201214 yr Glad to see Dry the River hold onto a Top 30 place at least, didn't expect Dot Rotten to drop 21 places after Wednesday though :o Edited March 11, 201214 yr by SevenSeize
March 11, 201214 yr 57 46 59 Adele Someone Like You 58 45 54 Adele Rolling In The Deep 59 52 42 Adele Set Fire To The Rain Lol! Most boring top 40 in a long time. I hope Azealia Banks and MIA can jump in next week to add some interest.
I didn't think the top 40 was that bad today (in terms of "interest"). It was more annoying a couple of months back when all the summer 2011 hits re-entered.
March 11, 201214 yr I didn't even know Mary Byrne had released another album. I wonder if the sales will be higher next week with Mothers Day gifts?
March 11, 201214 yr Albums: 33 N 1 Sinead O'Connor How About I Be Me (And You Be You)? crikey - that's VERY low.... especially considering that, even though it's her, it's a seriously great album.....
March 11, 201214 yr Black Keys have a first charting single since 2004! Also odd to see Adele's three singles from 21 next to each other
March 11, 201214 yr 67 N 1 Lissie Go Your Own Way 68 R 22 Charlene Soraia Wherever You Will Go How convenient, both tracks from the Twinnings TV ad  And Waka Waka is back :o
March 11, 201214 yr Really impressed how well Gotye is doing in the charts, its a shame DJ Fresh got a week in between, just ruins the pattern of having 4 consecutive weeks.
March 11, 201214 yr 57 46 59 Adele Someone Like You 58 45 54 Adele Rolling In The Deep 59 52 42 Adele Set Fire To The Rain total 155 weeks on the chart - quite an achievement. Edited March 11, 201214 yr by seanster
March 11, 201214 yr I can see Emeli Sande waiting around for quiet a while with next to me, its a real grower and a feel good song, hopefully she can manage 500,000 plus in total.
March 11, 201214 yr New peaks for Azealia and M.I.A! Although considering Azealia has been at like #30 for what felt like most of the week I'm surprised with how far off the top 40 she was. But yay anyway.
March 11, 201214 yr Author New peaks for Azealia and M.I.A! Although considering Azealia has been at like #30 for what felt like most of the week I'm surprised with how far off the top 40 she was. But yay anyway. 212's iTunes positions: Sunday 9pm: #56 Monday 8pm: #44 Tuesday 8pm: #36 Wednesday 8pm: #33 Thursday 8pm: #30 Friday 8pm: #29 Saturday 8pm: #30 She was top 40 for the majority of the week but considering it was only in the low 50s on the highest sales day it's not awfully surprising it missed out by a bit. It was #29 at 8pm today so it's far more promising for a top 40 position this week.
