I would be surprised if she COULDN'T.
Can she walk on water?

She can calm a storm and heal the blind, and I bet she'd understand a heart like mine.

(Miranda Lambert ref)

I've listened to this about 4 times now and really do not get the hype about it on this site, it just sounds like countless other generic female fronted pop/dance tracks to me and over all is a bit nothingy tbh. I find the chorus a bit tacky too. :/

Totally agree.

I was expecting an amazing song after reading so many positive comments about it on here, but I really don't think it's anything special.

Well I'm not letting this thread limp out of view on a negative comment, so BUMP because it's a truly phenomenal piece of music :D
BUMP IT'S SHIT

(JK, haven't heard it yet :kink:)

Listen now!!

Don't get the fuss over this whatsoever! Granted, I've only given it one listen but it just seems so nothingy!
How about no? :D

Maybe I want to SAVOUR THE MOMENT until Eurovision!

In May you will regret the extra two months without Euphoria in your life :(

I understand why people may find it overrated on here and stuff, but we are purely trying to get this song noticed by people who usually wouldn't listen to it, because of the Eurovision tag. Hence what seems to be mass hype for it. It's genuinely a pop masterpiece and it's one of the best pop songs to come from Eurovision in a long, long time. (If not ver - depends on how long you've been following Eurovision I guess.)

I have a feeling that all the hype for this is because it's really good CONSIDERING it's from Eurovision, but the chorus is a little bit DUM-DE-DUM-DE-DUM and a bit typical pop. It's definitely not a groundbreaking event like so many are being led to believe, and is a prime example of Buzzjack hyperbole. It's a good wee song though. ~persephone haz spoken~

gooddelta, Liam and Jonjo have done an amazing job of getting it noticed around here however. They may love it as much as they claim but I feel like anything beyond that people are just trying too hard to keep up with THEIR levels of looning~ Had this not been a Eurovision track at all I think all of the others bar the big members who genuinely love it would've continued to listen to 'Starships' on repeat.

Be calm please..So much hysteria with this song. I like "Euphoria" too and i believe that it's one of the best songs in this year. But you declare it like "it's the song of humanity". It's very good song for Eurovision Song Contest but nothing special out of it..Also, we know that the best song rarely win the constest. Remember 2001, 2002, 2008 and last year. These songs are awful and were the winners..So, it doesn't need to support "Euphoria" like crazy because you will disappoint very soon..
'Rarely' isn't the word I would use. 7 of the last 10 winners completely deserved it.

Could you tell us because i think that only Turkey, Greece, Finland, Norway and Germany deserved to win the contest.

Still, not 'rarely'. I would add Serbia and Ukraine to that list, and we have 7 great winners.

At first I thought this was worse than the god awful Sober which still remains the most hideously overrated piece of trash I was subjected too last year. HOWEVER it started to grow on me thanks to my car having an epic sound system and then during the MF final performance it clicked.

It's a good track (Popular is far superior and My Heart Is Refusing Me is a debut she's never going to be able to top. All imo obv) and it would be exceedingly nice to see something Scandinavian cross over the North Sea. Release Me just CAN'T be a one off.

I dislike the "it's good... FOR EUROVISION" attitude a lot. Eurovision churns out multiple classics every year and this is one of the 2012 ones for sure. Year in year out there's always at least one Eurovision song in my year end top 10 (last year had Popular and Taken By A Stranger) and I don't see that changing this year.
