I hate fakes, I wish they just released everything on air on sale and this time there shouldn't be an opt-out! That's the reason why it didn't work the first time!
271. Set You Free 2001 (Voodoo & Serano Edit) - N-Trance

For the lurking gooddeltas :D :kink:

 Cherry picked from the Ultimate Clubland album which is amazing!

I wish it were Set You Free 2001 (Rob Searle Remix) though, because that is genuinely my favourite song of all time, although this remix is decent too.

Hits Now! version of Call Me Maybe DELETED. Other three versions remain (Carly Rae Jepsen Tribute Team #40, Hit Masters #112 and Here's My Number #163).

Top 100 update coming shortly, finally typed up the backlog.

What was number 1 on September 11 2001? my little brother wants to know for a music project he's doing at school

Bob The Builder's Mambo No.5.

What was number 1 on September 11 2001? my little brother wants to know for a music project he's doing at school

In the UK it was Bob The Builder's cover of Mambo No.5, DJ Otzi topped the chart with Hey Baby the following weekend so was almost certainly the highest selling single on the actual day of September 11, but it was Bob officially.

I remember buying N-Trance's Set You Free 2001 (my favourite song ever) on September 10 2001, it was out the same day as Hey Baby.

I'm beginning to wonder where all these tracks'll peak now - hopefully top 10 for them all (including Justin Bieber, only because 'Baby' and 'Eenie Meenie' shouldn't be his only top 10 hits). No heard the Train song, 'Drive By' just yet - but after 'Hey, Soul Sister' peaked at #21, any success for them would be greatly appreciated - guess it helps that 'Drops of Jupiter' is back in the iTunes top 50 thanks to The Voice.

I think Carly Rae Jepsen is the biggest contender for a #1 in the coming weeks - really hope they decide to push forward the release to this Sunday, it's everywhere at the moment - and will only encourage illegal downloading. The 'Starships' video and addition of the album (standard and deluxe editions) should also make the battle for #1 quite interesting, though I don't think deserves to peak at #1, the RedOne instrumental is just a mess.

Oh! Definitely top 40 this sunday then. ^_^

The Vaccines (currently at #27) should also make the top 40.

Top 100 update (8pm positions, previous positions are from 8pm last night)

[59] 40. Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen Tribute Team

What I'd really like to know is - who on earth names their kid "Maybe"...

He has a very good chance of being number 1 as the song appears on the Now 81 compilation and accordinging to HMV his album 'Tomahawk Technique' is also released on monday so people will be cherrypicking from that too

The same can happen to Labrinth's new single but he will probably land in the Top 5

He needs to release the remix with pitbull like in the US... I think this will give him the first spot combined for sure.

And his album is out only next week... not this.

Could The Sats finally have a #1 on their hands..I know its early but the E.P is already at #49, higher than they have been on pre-orders for quite some time!

That's what soundseekerz is saying - next week there will be 2 extra versions of She Doesn't Mind hanging around, from Now! 81 and his album which are both released on Monday.

I really hope he can go to #1. Nicki Minaj also has both her album and Now! 81 out on Monday though and her video could be out any second so it could end up close between the two. Releasing the Pitbull remix of She Doesn't Mind could help.

I really can't see them going to #1 ever now, they've long since missed their chance. I do really like '30 Days' on first listen and I think it could maybe be about as big as All Fired Up (I'd certainly be very surprised if it did as poorly as My Heart Takes Over anyway) but I think Carly Rae Jepsen and/or fun. will be dominating the #1 spot for some time whenever they release.
