'Smoke' by Natalie Imbruglia. Sweet song that made the top 5

One of her best songs !

Some others off the top of my head:

This group were AMAZING, yet disappeared after a wave of hype dissipated in early 2001. Got to #6 in January that year.

Absolutely LOVE this song. I love 'Karma Hotel' by them too.

Oh, and now for my End of year #1 from 2000, I know she has some fans on Buzzjack but the general public would draw a blank I'm sure;

This always get randomly played on nights out 'on the scene', there's A LOT of blank expressions, but there's always a few groups of gays that go absolutely mental when it's played!

I have to admit I'm one of those gays who goes mental when I hear the start of 'Absolutely Everybody'

'Beware of the Dog' by Jamelia is one for me. If it had been the lead single from the 'Walk With Me' album it would have peaked higher than #10

I always thought this was one of those songs everyone knew the chorus to  What a great song though  Deserved a higher peak than #7. It spent 14 weeks top 10 with a #6 peak in Australia :o massive there!

She had some amazing tracks since (can't believe she's still a one hit wonder!) but she's never beaten Absolutely Everybody.

Innocent Eyes, what a tune! I love Lost Without You as well - the whole album is full of memories for me.

Innocent Eyes and Lost Without You are both classics for me, too bad they actually belong in this thread as I don't think many people remember them (or Delta in general) anymore.

I still hear Lost Without You every now and then and Delta still regularly appears in the British media (although never because of her music sadly :()
I don't think that Delta Goodrem deserves to be in this list. Her music has something classy, she is gorgeous and she has very good voice!! I still listen the marvelous "Out Of The Blue" and "Born To Try". I have her three albums and it hasn't one forgotten song. People who didn't like her, it's sensible to forget her songs. But i don't think that her fans or people who bought her albums forgot her songs...

Well of course, these are gonna be the songs have been forgotten by all but their core fanbase. :P I'm not a fan of Delta, and I only vaguely remember 2 of her hits for example (Born To Try & Innocent Eyes). I recognise the title to the other 2 (Lost Without You and Already There), but when trying to think of the songs themselves, they're giving me blank pages...

Delta Goodrem is a talented artist (songwriter, voice etc). I would prefer seeing in this list, artists with Top 10 but not so talented at all..There are a lot of them and some people already referred them.

Not only is it a "Forgotten top ten hit" but it's easily one of the more forgettable number 1's of the 2000's

I used to love it back in 2004! Brings back a few memories. But it will never top 'Mesmerize' (Which seems to be the more fondly remembered track from the Ja Rule/Ashanti duo. Yes 'Always On Time' got top 10 and spent 4 weeks there, but I think 'Mesmerize' is definitely the more unforgotten track.)

Also my personal favourite Five track is their most forgotten track :( It reached number 2.

Already There?

Do you mean Almost Here? :P

I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment, shame it was back out of the chart as quickly as it arrived :(

I've always thought that if only 'Believe Again' had been given a chance in the UK, it would have been massive!

"Believe Again" is an amazing song!! I think that it's not the kind of song which british audiences prefer..But it was a smash hit in Australia. Delta is one of the least artists that she has the whole package. I would like to add Katy Perry in this small list but she is so bad in live perfromances( WHY GOD????)

Already There?

Do you mean Almost Here? :P

Yes, that's the one! All I can remember is that in the video, Brian McFadden was trying to find her, and then she left in a taxi...

the fat man in this video always annoyed me so much

I used to love watching the video for this.

X-Press 2 Feat. David Byrne - Lazy

Young Soul Rebels - I Got Soul.

Anyone remember that #10 charity 'classic'...

I loved 'I Got Soul', was really disappointed that it peaked so low. (Although it did far better than 'Teardrop' which was in a similar vein musically and for a much more publicised charity I guess).

 Pity they just... never bothered to release a follow up.

"I Got Soul" was a vile bast*rdisation of an absolute classic, IMO. Was glad it entered far lower than I was expecting.
