wow at Linkin Park :o I assumed this was already released and flopping, but nice to see they may get another top 40 hit. Burn It Down is immensely better than The Catalyst

good to see fun. back up to 3, Ordinary People seems to have thrown a spanner in the works, but hopefully it can return to number 2 soon

Linkin Park now  to #15 but it looks like they won't make the iTunes top 10 now :( Should still have a decent chance at giving them another top 40 hit though.

Kings Of Leon  to #53 with US and  to #63 with SOF - it's like it's 2010 again :D

Edited by B.r.É

Linkin Park are about to go into the top 10 in the US aswell (kicking out Nicki Minaj), but that's not surprising, as they always do better in the US than in the UK I think. And I think their new song will get a lot of radio airplay there.

Yeah, "New Divide" made #1 on iTunes over there and #6 officially. For a song to go top 20 on the Hot 100 how well would it have to do on iTunes over there? Because "The Catalyst" debuted at #27 there so that's the target for "Burn It Down".

New Releases:

2. Can't Say No - Conor Maynard

5. So Good - B.o.B

12. Primadonna - Marina & the Diamonds

15. BURN IT DOWN - Linkin Park

263. True Romance - Motion City Soundtrack

352. The Woman I Love - Jason Mraz

359. If I Can't Have You (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

381. Disco Inferno Disco Inferno (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

392. Call Me Maybe - Here's My Number So Call Me Maybe

411. 50 Ways to Say Goodbye - Train

747. Bruises (feat. Ashley Monroe) - Train

748. Everybody Talks - Neon Trees

760. No Woman, No Cry (Live At The Lyceum) - Bob Marley & The Wailers

794. The Nothing Song - Chicane

879. Go Right Ahead - The Hives

974. Could You Be Loved - Bob Marley & The Wailers

There's been a little bit of a clearout of the top end of the chart the last couple of weeks - Bieber, Usher, fun., Sway and Breathe Carolina all debuting in the top 21 last week and Conor, B.o.B, Marina and Train likely to do so this week (probably not Linkin Park but they've gone that high on iTunes). Plus of course John Legend, Jessie J and Alex Clare surging upwards.

It's too difficult to tell, since they include so many things in the Hot 100 (e.g. radio airplay, VEVO, Spotify, etc.). It's probably possible to get to #1 on iTunes and miss the top 20 on the Hot 100. And the other way around aswell, I remember last year Last Friday Night had fallen out of the top 10 on iTunes when it was announced as #1 on the Hot 100 on its 2nd week.

But Linkin Park already have a lot of radio airplay (for a song that's just been released), so if they go top 5 on iTunes I think they should manage top 20 officially.

New Divide was a really big hit, it got #61 in the year-end chart. And they even had one of their songs make a year-end top 10! :o

"In The End" by any chance? I knew it made #2 but I never knew it was such a huge hit, should have realised since Hybrid Theory sold 10 million copies but albums over there can sell vast amounts with no huge singles (as long as the airplay is consistently high) so I didn't think much of it.

Yeah, it was in 2002 at #7:

1. Nickelback - How You Remind Me - Did pretty well for such a hated song

2. Ashanti - Foolish

3. Nelly - Hot in Herre

4. Nelly/Kelly Rowland - Dilemma

5. The Calling - Wherever You Will Go - 10 years later and the song became relevent again in the UK

6. Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles

7. Linkin Park - In the End

8. Fat Joe/Ashanti/Ja Rule - What's Luv?

9. Usher - U Got It Bad

10. Puddle of Mudd - Blurry

Primadonna  #13

Please Live Lounge do your wonders tomorrow.

12. Alex Care - Too Close

13. Marina & The Diamonds - Primadonna

27. Birdy - Skinny Love

41. The Fray - How To Save A Life

46. Kate Bush - This Woman's Work (Looking likely of missing the top 40 now)

51. Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody

53. Aerosmith - I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing

54. Alexandra Burke - Elephant (Imagine If This Was 99p, It would no doubt be out of the top 100)

61. Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire

62. Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling

79. Shakira - Waka Waka (Re-entry In The Top 100 then)

How come Primadonna has only 1 version in the top 1000, is it because people are just buying the whole EP instead of the seperate remixes?

Dr. Dre update:

119. The Next Episode

400. Still D.R.E.

501. I Need a Doctor

660. Forgot About Dre

738. California Love - Tupac and Dr. Dre performed this the other day, I assume that's why it's in the top 1000

How To Save A Life at #40!!! :D

Hopefully this encourages people to buy their NEW album....(which is seriously fantastic)

More than likely. I really hope she can hang on to that top 10 position in the officials :(

Rita Ora is currently #54 on pre-orders, whilst Tulisa is right behind at #56! That weeks going to be incredibly close! :o

I thought Rita and Tulisa have moved to different weeks now.

But if they're the same week, I really, really, really hope Rita Ora wins. Her song is amazing (although the lyrics are written by Drake and Tinie Tempah, and it's produced by Chase & Status and Stargate, so it's hardly surprising that it's awesome ).

i think the EP charted on the album side of it. was top 30 earlier in the week
