April 25, 201214 yr Good to see LP playlisted, but otherwise a really dull playlist. Add Skrillex now, when the video's been out for aeons? Move onto "Summit" already, jesus.
April 25, 201214 yr Boo at already dropping Marina. They kept Radioactive on IIRC and that flopped. This removes any possibility of it having longevity. Skrillex being added is nice but it's like... a month late. EDIT: Paloma pleases me actually. Was worried they were gonna blank her. EDIT 2 BECAUSE SKIM READING IS FUN: Beyoncé's gone :( Can't believe End of Time never happened. Edited April 25, 201214 yr by Umi

April 25, 201214 yr Look at how diverse that playlist was. To listen to trance like Rank 1 and Angelic to pure pop like Billie Piper and Mandy Moore, life doesn't get more exciting than that! Edited April 25, 201214 yr by Ne Plus Ultra
April 25, 201214 yr Oh sorry! My bad. I was doing mine at the same time you posted this so I thought I would have been the first to do it. Please delete the other one. Were Radio 1 just really late at posting it today, or was you just not around Euphorique? :P Here's what I said in the previous thread... Some nice additions this week. Notably Linkin Park, Rihanna and especially Paloma  Really hoping the latter is a huge hit for her. Gutted for Marina though. :(
April 25, 201214 yr Author I wasnt around Jonjo ;) I'm no longer a chart mod, so I cant delete the other thread. You'll have to ask someone else :P
April 25, 201214 yr oh god :( well that's it then. marina's going to fall like a brick in the next couple of weeks now that she's off the playlist. well, the fall may be cushioned a bit next week seen as her album will be released.
April 25, 201214 yr Rihanna playlisted is good news for me here! :D Also happy that Carly hasn't dropped out yet!
April 25, 201214 yr Carly will be here for a long time I think! I got tired of editing my original post and I only just realised RiRi is on there. WOO. Can't wait for Where Have You Been to smash.
April 26, 201214 yr oh god :( well that's it then. marina's going to fall like a brick in the next couple of weeks now that she's off the playlist. well, the fall may be cushioned a bit next week seen as her album will be released. It'll still get played as a high rotation recurrent whilst it's still doing well in the chart, just like Azealia Banks, whch gets played quite a bit but isn't on the playlist anymore. Thanks for posting the 2000 retro, quite a few good gems in there. One's I have on CD single still are: Darude - Sandstorm (which if I recall had an excellent chart run for an instremental hard dance song, was it 11/12 weeks Top 40) York - O.T.B (On The Beach) (Still one I like to dig out on a sunny day) Rank 1 - Airwave  Travis - Coming Around Sash! - Just Around The Hill Fragma - Toca's Miracle Paul Van Dyke - Tell Me Why (The Riddle) Armand Van Heldan - Koochie Eminem - The Real Slim Shady (I remember getting my mother to go to the check out a Woolies to get this as they wouldn't sell it to me as I was under 16 at the time  ) 2000 was Such an amazing time for music :D

April 26, 201214 yr No Professor Green? :( And no Scissor Sisters? :( which is weird as they've had the Scissors in on Greg's show to promote the single/album, so why would they have them come in but then not playlist them?!
April 26, 201214 yr * Belle & Sebastian feat. The Maisonettes - 'Legal Man' Otherwise, it just the nostalgia speaking...

April 26, 201214 yr Great to see DJ Fresh, Linkin Park, The Wanted and Wretch 32 being added (and Skrillex although a bit late on that + it isn't his best). Also good to see Rudimental moving up to C, I really like 'Feel The Love'. Alex Clare and D'banj up to the A-List and Skepta and The Saturdays up to the B-List is also pleasing. I've finally heard that Flux Pavilion/Example song now - it's decent on first listen but not quite as good as I was expecting a collab between them to be. Maybe it'll grow. I hope it can finally give Flux a top 40 hit at least anyhow. (The more interesting Example song around at the moment is 'Chasing The Sun' :P) Edited April 26, 201214 yr by B.r.É
