R.I.P Adam Yauch (Beastie Boys). Expect to see a few of their hits in the top 100 in the next few hours. :(

I did read about him having cancer some time ago so not exactly shocking news but very sad anyway. R.I.P.

((YG)FFYR(TP) might re-enter the top 100?)

I think Where Have You Been is more likely to go to #1 in the US than it is in the UK. Since S&M and Disturbia reached #1 there, whilst they *only* got #3 here, so maybe Where Have You Been will be #3 in the UK aswell. The Rihanna dance songs usually do better in the US it seems.

Rihanna always seems to do better in the Uk than she does in USA, it's incredible to think Loud has sold more in the UK than it has in the US.

Her chart runs are usually much, much better in the US than the UK. Only a few exceptions can I think of where they end up better in the UK (e.g. California King Bed, Fly, Russian Roulette).

It's true about her album though. It's incredible when you think about it. She was so popular at one point since she had Only Girl, What's My Name? and Who's That Chick? all dominating at the same time. I think 2008 and late 2010 were when she was at her most popular.

:o R.I.P. Adam Yauch.

"(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!)" will probably be the highest entry followed by "Sabotage", "No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn", "Intergalactic" and "Paul Revere".

I think (or rather hope) The New Style would be one of the highest. And Slow and Low was only an album track, but is one of their most iconic songs now.

Only 5,000 plays for their most played song? :drama: That's disappointing. Last FM is a really big site aswell.

I'm basing the fact that I think The New Style is one of their most iconic songs because I've heard it referenced to in dozens of other hip hop songs.

You can't really compare her singles chart runs in the UK & US tbf. If the BB H100s points were only based on sales I har a feeling the majority of those songs would of had a better chart run over here than in the states.

Yeah, maybe. Radio airplay helps Rihanna (and most pop artists) so much in that chart.

Billboard published an article a while ago detailing Rihanna's best chart runs on the Hot 100: http://m.billboard.com/entry/view/id/33777...73669306c428f30

1. Live Your Life

2. Love the Way You Lie

3. Umbrella

4. Disturbia

5. Take a Bow

6. Rude Boy

7. Only Girl

8. What's My Name?

9. S&M

10. Run This Town

11. Pon De Replay

12. Don't Stop the Music

13. SOS

14. Hate That I Love You

15. Unfaithful

16. Hard

17. We Found Love (obviously this is much higher now )

18. Cheers

19. Break It Off

20. Shut Up and Drive

She's got 3 songs from 2008 in the top 5 of her biggest hits in the US, so that arguably was when she was most popular I guess, but I might still say late 2010 in the UK, especially with the X Factor controversy.

How close is Where Have You Been to the top 10? :D

You can always check for yourself via Kworb on Page 1.

As of 3.7(?) hours ago;

10 (0.2667) Conor Maynard 'Can't Say No'

11 (0.2494) Rihanna 'Where Have You Been'

Cover Drive and Train both in dark red at #5 and #6 respectively - I imagine we'll see Calvin Harris overtake them both at some point in the next 24 hours - which is good news.

Calvin Harris will have two songs he produced in the top 10 on iTunes at the same time, for the first time, soon!
Rihanna better overtake Conor soon. Him losing the top 10 effect would be very helpful to Marina!

top 200 update;

 30. Glee Cast - Shake It Out

 53. Glee Cast - Cry

 78. Glee Cast - Cell Block Tango

 154. Glee Cast - Not The Boy Next Door

Jessie J is performing LaserLight a the end of Graham Norton's show, currently #8 on iTunes, should at least move up a couple of places.

I'm assuming Rita Ora is releasing Sunday, she has just performed R.I.P on Jools Holland show, and the track sounded a whole better without Tinie Tempah
Far*East Movement's 'Live My Life' was given a release date of 5/5 on iTunes and now it's disappeared from the albums feed - but it hasn't been released, it seems to have just been deleted. Presumably they'll either add it fairly soon or put the pre-order back up and release it tomorrow (discarding all its previous pre-orders?)
