Adele’s 21 at number 3! Could it possibly be number one come Sunday? :o Good to see a Bee Gees album in the Top 10, but not good to see Keane all the way down to 10! Maybe it could climb from this position if some of the new entries above it drop, although there is still a chance of Keane dropping too. :( Other previous number ones of this year still aren’t doing well – Marina and the Diamonds out and Jack White falling 16 places! Ren Harvieu and Garbage are out the Top 40 after just one week! My, oh my, this albums chart stinks!

I hope Keane stop the decline and get into reverse position as i dont want them dropping out of the top 10 from number 1.I predict another week of not so great sales again in the album chart this week.

Paloma Faith should have the Jools Holland effect at the weekend, she was overshadowed by the Eurovision Semi last night, and performing on Friday.

Singles:

Rihanna back to #5 on iTunes so hopefully a non-move or climbs a place come Sunday.

Dance Again may be #10 come Sunday, still good for her, top 10 hit.

Let's Go  a place due to video, My Kind of Love  a place and Remedy (Pro Green) 7 places to #20!

Princess of China  4 places, once video out surely a top 10 hit.

Albums:

Keane down NINE places :o

21  to #3 :heehee: Unstoppable!

Bee Gees #6 :o

I wonder if Fun can stay top 10 come Sunday..

Watch The Throne  16 places so far, may be more come Sunday, at #2 on iTunes album chart.

19  4 places How this is still top 40 is amazing.

Great to see Slash there without a physical release (I'm pretty sure the magazine fanpack isn't chart eligible?).

Joe at the top of the albums chart as well! Doubt he'll hang on to it but I hope he does, great talent.

MW mid report added, not a lot of sales info though.
Great to see Martin Solveig looking like getting a 4th top 40 hit  (yes, he did exist before Hello) 'The Night Out' is excellent thanks to Madeon's remix. It's also great to see Pitbull in the top 40 with 'Back In Time' and also in the top 10 with J'Lo with 'Dance Again'. I'm also excited about Skrillex getting his first top 30 hit! Hopefully Newton Faulkner will drop out on Sunday, I haven't heard this new song but I haven't liked any songs by him.

Safe bet that 21 will be a lot less front-loaded than the competition... :)

10k - that's quite a gap for Fun to make up...

LMFAO out of the top 40?! :w00t:

Should be back in by Sunday. ;)

weird to see two week number ones in both charts likely to take a tumble
I hope Adele is back at the albums #1 this week and Fun. in the singles!
10k sounds like a lot but we've seen songs stretch their leads over the week by over 20k from the first midweeks so it's very much doable.
fun will have to do 2k per day which may be asking too much

I thought the Wanted would always get a big headstart, I think unfortunately 10k may be too much for fun. to overcome unless it starts massively pulling ahead on Itunes, fingers crossed!

what on earth is Newton Faulkner doing in the charts?! :o used on a show I presume?

edit: I see this is a new release, thats quite impressive physicals he must have!

They didn't clash and I wouldn't have thought there be that many people watching both anyway (apart from Brett-Butler and me  )

Fun have a 15% lead over The Wanted already on iTunes, the weekend effect will also boost Fun MAJORLY. I think Fun have it easily in the bag!
Garbage already out of the top 40 albums :o
