Don't Capital generally playlist 'the hits', i.e. whatever goes to #1 on iTunes as long as it's not Military Wives or somesuch. Surely they can't ignore it now?

Tuning into the Big Top 40 now anyway...

Yeah they keep reviewing the top 10 and are playing the snippet of Loreen just think i am guessing ALOT of CapitalFM listeners havent heard of it! This could do wonders for Loreen if she is number 1! So if she is #1 Then i cant see capital ignoring it!

Just before 5pm Capital last did a recap of the current top 10 before lockdown at 6pm. They played a clip of Loreen saying she was at #2, when she was actually just moved to #1 - but I guess they were a bit behind :kink:

It sounds amazing on radio though!

I know i never thought I'd hear a Eurovison song properly on the radio especially on some chart and at #1! The fact that it is Loreen just makes it all the more sweeter and EPIC!

The Voice will not help Kylie. The ratings for the show suck now.

It got Paloma top 10 last week.... and the week before Emeli got into the top 20

So it will have an effect

Yeah. I'm pretty certain they'll play it now. I mean, they're playing Alex Clare, so they can play Euphoria I'm sure.

Playing catch up again but YAY!!!

Absolutely pleased to see Loreen at #1 on iTunes. I'm sure this exposure will only help sell the track even more. It also helps that it sounds like something I'd expect to be a hit in 2012 that 'Euphoria' could even become a successful hit without the "Eurovision" tag attached to it.

And *.*

Seriously though, when I put "Loreen for UK #1 *.*" into the subheading, I didn't actually think Loreen would get there so I'm feeling all Dandy* circa 'With Every Heartbeat' #1 now. :w00t: (yes, it won't be official #1 but give us this moment while it lasts)

It WOULD seem a bit like completely obvious Eurovision snobbery if they failed to playlist the song at #1 on their own top 40 chart! Exceptions can be made for things like Military Wives but Euphoria is perfect for their target audience.

It could be true if we get official confirmation on whether Gary Barlow's "Sing" is chart eligible or not.

It's the UK. That means the media will probably try everything they can to ensure 'Sing' is #1 for the Diamond Jubilee. The thing is, I don't know many people who really care about the Diamond Jubilee - family, friends, work colleagues. Very few are interested, so I doubt many people would care to see 'Sing' #1.

Anyways, if it's meant to be all about celebrating then 'Euphoria' covers the feeling of celebration far better than a Gary Barlow penned ballad.

Another picture of Loreen at #1:

Kworb still showing her at #2 but I'll provide a screenshot from there when possible as well!

I just hope Loreen isnt one of them artists that has like one big song off the back of eurovision and then dosent release in the UK! Like i have stated her past 2 singles have been on par with Euphoria! If Loreen and her 'crew' craft this well she could smash all over Europe!

I am loving all these different pictures of Loreen at #1.
CapitalFM just locked down their top 10 which means that Loreen will officially be Number 1 on Capital's Vodaphone Big Top Forty!

HOORAY! WELL DONE LOREEN!

Now let's see how Kylie does tonight to determine the race for next week!

Alexandra is STILL #35. :o

Imagine it missed the top 40?

I think her management will put it to 59p soon, Well they would if they had sense.
