If something like 8 people want a song so much to send it and so many people already know about it, it becomes massively uninspired and verto-worthy, it shouldn't matter whether it's a debut song by someone who decided to make music yesterday or someone who's sold 50 million singles worldwide. It's still not GaGa and not known even by a third of BJSC population. Now that Rob decided to reveal it, it will indeed probably be vetoed.

The second option is a fun and catcy, but dark, cabaret pop number. The third one is by a Le Kid sounding pop trio! I may need some help, I think. Is anyone willing to lend me a hand? :unsure:

May 29, 201213 yr As much as I do think it IS Pavel who has confirmed Faye and as irritating as it is that he knew we all wanted to confirm it and had no chance of ever getting it, the song itself isn't well known and it's debatable as to whether a veto is fair. After all, we all clearly thought it was an acceptable entry when we tried to confirm it.

I do agree with this too tbh, whilst I have pointed out how many wanted it which does perhaps point towards a veto - but the entry itself is far from cheap. Who really knows who Faye is?! It is quite a difficult one, it's not cheap at all..
May 29, 201213 yr I'd say no veto, yes it's a bit of an unfair advantage that close to 10 people are aware of it before confirmation but there have been MUCH cheaper entries (Diana Vickers and Sabrina Washington anyone?), plus this level of hype never equals certain winner anyway, like LexC said it's BJSC karma :P But I really don't think it's cheap or uninspired since people will have just found it on blogs etc. and thought they were in for a good entry, nobody knew 10 others were after it.

May 29, 201213 yr I've confirmed...and it isn't Faye :lol: I decided to go for my discovery yesterday rather than the song I was initially going to send. (Assuming it isn't vetoed or already taken :lol: ) (btw, if anyone's stuck for choice, just send a PM my way and you can use my old choice! although it is by me, so success is very much not guaranteed :P )

Second, I didn't have an AUTO confirmation, I sent a PM (to myself haha) like everyone else. Granted, I had an advantage of knowing when exactly everything starts but what if I did want a track that some other people are after? Thanks to Robot it's now definitely getting vetoed because he revealed it hence everyone will listen to it to see what the hype is about and therefore it won't be considered as a good entry now. Le sigh.
