Whistle is climbing rapidly, it will be interesting to see how it holds up next week, if it carries on selling now, it could even beat Cheryl to number 1 next week :o Just Flo Rida's name seems to sell rapidly these days!

listening to it now, those lyrics

Whistle is decent enough but Wild Ones was 10 times better, I'm surprised that this is looking to be SO huge but I guess it's been held back longer. Whistling hooks seem to be the in thing recently...

Both are awful songs, i don't know which i'd prefer at the top. It'd be like picking the tallest dwarf...

I'm pretty sure Need You Now isn't a country song? I like it for a start. I abhor country music: i can't stand the samey ukulele backings and the god-fearing accents they sing in. :puke2:

Whistle eating into Gary's lead is pleasing!

I don't know anything about country music really, but I see most people referring to Need You Now, Taylor Swift, etc. as "country pop" or something.

I can only think of 2 other recent-ish hits that have whistling in the chorus (It Girl and Moves Like Jagger - both of which stretch 'recent' a lot). Am I just being thick here? :P

What a ridiculous post  For a start country isn't like that at all, it used to be but now poplar country is almost always mixed with pop or rock, and doesn't have any ukeleles. But the fact you don't like a genre and you like a song in that genre isn't a basis to discount it from that genre! I don't like classical music and yet I like I Giorni by Ludovico Einaudi, oh but I suppose it's not classical because I like it...

It is country, not pure country like Dolly Parton etc. though, it's definitely country pop though.

Also Good Life by OneRepublic and I Wanna Go by Britney Spears.

And Buzzin'....kind of.

THIS :D I actually heard that Shy'm was going to get an international launch at some point, but I might have confused her with SoShy (who is also French).

43 now ^_^ she was on The One Show before I think

Ye, she was on Radio 1's live Lounge this morning too. She'll be on This Morning tomorrow and Loose women on Friday. So it should continue to climb higher and higher. Especially since her airplay is rather large and her TV play is doing well!

Just realised that if 'Sing', 'Scream' and 'Whistle' are the top 3 this week, which is looking likely, all of the top 3 song's titles are all instructions of something to do with your voice

I think Whistle is awful..He has done alot better. It really is cringe the whole way through :arrr:

Whistle is rather pleasant imo. I just want anything to knock Gary Barlow out of #1 on iTunes at this rate
