The top 5 are all DEBUT hits by artists, does anyone know when the last time this happened was?

If you ignore Hot Right Now, the week before last :P

Awkward they're talking about the ex girlfriend that inspired 'When She Was Mine' as if she's someone random who's going to really regret it now he's had a Top 5. It's flipping Mollie from The Saturdays! I doubt she cares too deeply. :drama:

Is it?! :o

That explains why Reggie brought it up then, probably hoping he'd mention her and cause some drama.

Hmm, I'd say not, and as one of them was Tulisa I would say it's far less impressive anyhow.

So "Euphoria" is the biggest Eurovision hit since Gina G., right?

Nope, Love Shine A Light (1997) was top 3 as well.

2 places lower than I wanted but :cheer:

Eurovision gets a top 3 hit that isn't from the UK. It's been such a long time.

SMASH THAT LOREEN!

Genuinely shocked at how well Lawson held on - it was #4 on Wednesday's update and had fallen to #13 by last night - was expecting a #6/7 debut at best - so good on them. Irritating though, for it means 'Where Have You Been' spends a third consecutive week at #6, which sadly may remain it's peak (Lawson and Loreen will drop below, but DJ Fresh and Usher are likely to occupy spots in the top 5 in their place).

Echoing someone earlier - the best top 3 in absolutely years. Loving Loreen, Fun and Rudimental so much!!

Euphoria doesn't quite sound as epic on a cold, wet Sunday as it did in the heatwave, but still an amazing song and great to see a Eurovision song top 3 for the first time since the 1990s!
