It's not exactly cheap. I doubt many would've even noticed had it not been pointed out.

I don't think it is cheap at all, it is mostly unrecognisable due to the translation anyway. I think you should definitely be able to keep it!

Sorry for pointing it out, that's kind of my second error of the contest - following the reveal of Faye (sorry Pavel). Though, this time, think after John pointing out the cover, it was only a matter of time before someone mentioned it had already been sent in another form.

I know Nick F1 loves Monrose so I'm guessing he might give Daehun some points. :D Other than him there's really nobody else, as far as I can tell.

I didn't even know it was sent before, oh dear. I don't think it would be right to ban it though, I mean the original didn't do well and was sent so long ago anyway. Plus it's in a different language as well.

Oh LOL. I think one of the other mods did actually ask if it was the same and we completely forgot to check up on it. :o Just go on as normal and we'll let you know as soon as possible what we'll do (if we do anything about it) :D

But in srsness, it's EVERYONE'S fault. We just like to BRAG about what an amazing song we're GOING to send, giving first letters of the song title, artist's nationality, sex, full biography. If only mods found out the fact that Faye was sent by 7 people (+ Tom Kay 'for the lolz', which I don't really count, and Benji Soap hours after confirmation started so he he could already have read the whole outbreak) after it's been cleared. There's no way for the mods to do a u-turn on a decision, is there? :D

Seeing as I'm the only mod online at the moment (finishing work early FTW), there's not much we can do just yet. Pavel, if you want to save yourself any hassle (ie. having to ask people for new votes later on if f(x) needs to be changed), please feel free to suspend semi 2 voting. I'm not too worried about this because not many people vote the day after semis open, so no need to panic. Zen etc. :D

to be fair I should say that Oricon has to change his entry (sorry :( ). Changing the rules DURING a contest isn't fair tbh. If the mods want to change the rules and they allow 'not cheap' covers into the contest they should make the decision before a new contest is started.
