April 22, 201312 yr The thing is if they had performed that on Britain's Got Talent, they would've quite possibly had a standing ovation, 4 "yes" from the judges, won their semi final, made the final and be given some recording contract to release an album of classical covers. They might not add anything to the music industry (even though I thought they were incredible) but the record company would make a quick buck from them. Their problem is that they chose to audition for The Voice and I just don't see if they will benefit from the show if, as Jessie J said, they would want to push them and make them try different things. If Will.I.Am gets them singing an opera-lite version of 'Scream & Shout', 'I Gotta Feeling' or 'My Humps' then it really is all over for them. I'll be intrigued to see what exactly Will.I.Am will do with them. Now that could be entertaining

April 27, 201312 yr Author I was surprised to see Nate James auditioning for the Voice, could become this year's Tyler James. Paul Cardon from Black Velvet is another potential and Alice from Hollyoaks wasn't that bad. The rest of the today's show just fell away.
April 27, 201312 yr Author I only really liked Jordan and Alice tonight. :( That's it Alice I couln't remember her name, thanks...
April 27, 201312 yr Jamie Bruce was fantastic! So much soul, and he was really likeable too! Cherelle's "Call My Name" was of course fab, but the song didn't suit her. I'm glad she got through anyway.
April 27, 201312 yr I liked Jordan tonight. I wasn't expecting his voice at all from the introduction. Overall, there seems to be a better variety of voices this year compared with last year and Jordan is an example of that. Jessie J has been fairly critical of a few contestants. I wish the others would follow her example. The format of the show means that there are no contestants who are truly talentless but the emphasis on positive comments gets a bit much at times.
April 28, 201312 yr Alice was brilliant! She's probably my favourite so far actually. Cherelle had a lovely voice too, even if the song was terrible for her, so I'm glad Tom spotted that. Hopefully he gives her a slower R&B song, I think that's what would really show her voice off.

What about the bit when the judges got confused, the boy that sang like a girl  and the guy who they thought was a duet :D
April 28, 201312 yr I thought it'd be languishing between the 3 - 5 million mark tbh, glad it's viewers seem to be picking up compared to how they ended up last year!
April 29, 201312 yr The episode from 20 April had official figures of 9.5 million, and was the second most-watched programme of the week 15-21 April, only behind Britain's Got Talent! I really hope they can keep up this new-found momentum for the rest of the series! It's by far and away my favourite reality show right now, and I'd love for more/a third series.

April 30, 201312 yr Wasn't that it's peak? As DS said it grew again, this time to an average of 7.97 million No. DS gives overnight viewing figures which only include people that watched the show on the original broadcast. BARB gives official figures which combines the original viewers with the HD viewers and those who watched recordings within a week of broadcast. And it will also have received tonnes of iPlayer views, which are not included in any official figures.

Oh that makes sense :) I'd still love The Voice to come on top on on Saturday night only, even if it's just for 1 time
May 4, 201312 yr So mad they didn't pick Bronwen. I actually got goosebumps from her, one of the best I've heard across ALL the shows, and nobody turned?!!
