I'd like to see Maroon 5 get no.1-not because I think Payphone is amazing. I like it so it'd be a good no.1 but they've had so much better out and been screwed getting no.1 before so I just want them to get no.1 for something even if it turns into a total non no.1. Moves Like Jagger more than made up for everything else.

I think PP is already number 1 combined... It will sell 120K this week.

Will be interesting to see how 'Call My Name' holds up next week, with the track available on the album, no doubt that version will make the Top 100 as well.

On an only slightly related note, does anyone else think the chorus of Payphone sounds a bit like the chorus of Take A Chance On Me (by JLS)?

I actually thought this the other day as well, and usually I'm the only one who hears these things in songs :lol:

The other day on here someone said Payphone sounds like Just the Way You Are, and people also said that about Take a Chance on Me, so, it makes sense I guess. :lol:

Keep climbing Stooshe! I am so excited for this group! They have great voices and interesting personalities! I am definitely looking forward to seeing what else they can come up with! Too bad Cheryl is down to number 2 now but she has the #1 in the bag this week so I am happy with that! She got her 3rd #1!

Stooshe are really outperforming my expectations! I honestly thought that they would struggle to go top 20 as there has been nowhere near as much airplay as there was for Love Me as far as I'm aware!

 

I echo what the rest of you have been saying though that their record company have done exactly the right thing making it 59p straight away, and I think it'll chart at #4 now behind Maroon 5, Flo Rida and Cheryl!

 

I do like the song, but wouldn't have considered downloading it - but now it's 59p I might download it after all!
