The LAST thing I am is "indie" or "cool". I just think they're catchy songs (especially STIUTK). It's those pop artists that spent the past 5 years making the same song over and over again that are to blame for these alternative songs blowing up tbh.

R.I.P. :yahoo:

I wasn't targeting you specifically but it's just big pop fans / chavs / scene queens thinking they're cool and alternative by listening to those two songs. They're catchy yes, but sounds as if they were tailormade for radio if that makes sense? Same with nearly all of Maroon 5's back catalogue too.

'How We Do (Party)' will probably be a third #1 single for Rita Ora. I actually prefer her new one to R.I.P.

That song is all over in the radios in Hungary while no one knows anything about RIP :o

If you're picky I'll be picky too:

"in aid of Children In Need" :P

Just joking, your wish will be fulfilled ;)

LOL. Thanks! :yahoo:

I hope if How We Do by Rita Ora gets massive, that it at least gives a slight sales boost to The Game/50 Cent's classic of the same name. :kink:
This and 'We Are Young' are easily the most overplayed, overrated pieces of shite this year so far. Eugh. So indie and cool liking them woo ~

NAILED IT.

That's okay, you didn't say it in a harsh way. :D

Yeah, as much as I like them, I do agree that they are very radio-friendly.

I'm glad Emeli Sandé has a new peak, though I still think it deserved to be a top 3 hit at least. :( Glad Paloma and Loreen are hanging around a bit too.

4. Coldplay

5. Precision Tunes

6. fun.

7. Rudimental

8. Usher
