Re. Emili Sande: She's been performing in the Scottish cities that welcomed the Olympic torch this week. :-)

She was on stage for around 20 mins and was fantastic live. This could explain her climb.

Rihanna's chart history is really quite something!! :o I really hope she can carry on making great hits for a while yet.

2010 42 Hard (Rihanna Feat. Young Jeezy) -2-

2010 02 Rude Boy -3-

2010 41 Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour) (Jay-Z Feat. Bono, The Edge & Rihanna)

2010 14 Te Amo -4-

Was 'Hard' not the 4th UK single and 2nd in US and 'Rude Boy' the 2nd in the UK and 3rd in the US?

Sad they cut out the instrumental in that radio version :( .

Yes, that's correct. In the UK it went:

1. Russian Roulette

2. Rude boy

3. Te Amo

4. Hard

in the US it went:

1. Russian Roulette

2. Hard

3. Rude Boy

4. Rockstar 101

Anyone think 'Call Me Maybe' can reach a million sales?

I would think so at some point - Titanium could as well!

Was it released as a 4th single at all in the end?

It reached #42 when it was an album track.

What's sales for it at the moment?

I think it's on about 780K?

Nothing special from this, but this comes from an artist who has been an star in US R&B scene since 2006

When it became a proper single it only got into the 60s I think (on iTunes at least).

WTH they are playing the Maroon 5 version

It got Radio 1 support so I'd assume so, although in that era all her single releases got cancelled near planned release date if I remember correctly. -_-

Why do you keep quoting songs that have been announced ages ago?

I now declare Maroon 5 to have copied Precision Tunes.

BOO at them playing the original. I might have to hunt down the Precision Tunes version and listen to it myself to see if it's any better than this utter shite. It's not on YouTube though so it may have to remain the first top 10 hit of the decade that I've never heard :o
