I hope this glitch somehow leads to Chris Brown officially being #1 next week as it's probably either going to be him or Maroon 5 back there.

I can't see Chris Brown number 1 next week personally.

I really don't see how this could be a genuine fall for will.i.am, he's decreasing TOO quickly. There must still be some problems with the song.

Taio back down to #11 though, thank God. Let's just hope will.i.am is back at #1 ASAP. (His second version is back at #46).

Yeah I agree, there's either an issue in downloading the song today, or somehow his sales from yesterday are gradually being lost from his 48 hour pop bar.

09. will.i.am. (Radio Edit)

44. will.i.am.

If 'This Is Love' somehow misses out on the number-one because of this, I'll be furious. Hoping it can manage to regain a top 3 position by tomorrow though, was hoping it'd be able to manage two weeks at the summit; would hate for Chris Brown to nab it next week.

It was deleted for a little while, so effectively it was achieving no sales for a few hours. Presumably this drop is reflecting that?
How is will decreasing this quickly? Did everyone just stop buying it these last few days?

There was a few hours earlier this morning where 'This Is Love' was deleted from iTunes, I guess this is the effect of that! By Monday morning, the effects of the deletion will have gone I think, but who knows how far the song will have dropped by then! :drama:

It'll bounce back once the 12-hour deleted period drops from the 48 hour roll-over - Monday morning sometime.

Train have a new song in the top 200. 50 Ways to Say Goodbye at no.190, 2nd single off their current album. Could it be a surprise top 40 hit for them?
I hope so. It's not as good as 'Drive By' (and it wouldn't get anywhere near that level of success for them, even if it was) but it's a good song and deserves to do at least as well as 'Hey, Soul Sister'. (Peak wise - it won't touch HSS sales)

What will be interesting is seeing if Radio 1 decide to playlist it. Didn't they ignore 'Drive By' and 'Hey, Soul Sister'? It pleases me to see that Train have somewhat become relevant again! They were known for being one of the biggest "One Hit Wonders" here in the UK. It's amazing how long it took them to turn it around.

will.i.am back up to #9. Rapid reclimb to begin now?

EDIT: Now back up to #8.

Hopefully, Will.I.Am's big drop will go in Chris Brown's favour and help him get to no1 tomorrow. I prefer Brown's song by far.

I'd actually be quite happy if This Is Love missed #1 because of a cock-up as I'm not keen on it, Chris Brown's Don't Wake Me Up is much better!

It won't matter though, losing a few hours of sales isn't enough for it to lose tbh, there was too much of a gap for Chris to make up.

Chris is not going to close a >17k gap. He'd probably not have closed it even if will.i.am stayed deleted.

will.i.am back up to #7, rapidly reclimbing as I predicted.

Other signifanct climbs during the past 24 hours:

We Are Young - Fun ft. Janelle Monrae = 11 to 4 (Thanks to Graham Norton)

Chasing the Sun - The Wanted = 37 to 33 (Due to Ice Age 4 promo, I think anyway)

Young - Tulisa = 41 to 38 (Probably increased intrest due to her being alot in the papers this week).

I forgot that fun. were on one of these chat shows - that should extend their top 10 run a bit. With so little competition out in the next few weeks it looks like they could come close to Gotye's 18-week run (tomorrow will be their 12th week)! They're only #5 (+84) on my feed though, with Stooshe still at #4. They're holding up really well so far, shame it's such a poor song. 'Love Me' was much better.
