Not too bothered, at least I no longer have to feel bad about taking Liam's entry. :lol: So I think I'm now going Swedish but with more alternative appeal.

Everyone is only through when the mods OK the final list. Just because you weren't in the first round of veto's doesn't mean you are exempt, we could still be discussing your entry...

I tried to send Fineshrine, presuming I'm allowed to say? Don't see why it should matter seeing as it's been vetoed..

 

EDIT: Confirmed again, reckon somebody like Tirren will have taken it, but it's worth a try!

I've confirmed a different track after Diandra Flores was taken. (Now vetoed so I don't feel so bad it got taken :lol:) Hope I've got something special! ojnoj would like to return in the final :P

All the entry changes were accepted, the "confirmed" list was updated, we're now up to 43 participants! Let's make it to 50+ again!

Oh I'm actually kinda glad I haven't lost a winner, poor Jack though :(

 

I was actually going to confirm Fineshrines as well, thought it would be taken so didn't, glad I didn't! I was going for Jessie Ware (I can say since I haven't) but that definitely would've been veto'd if Diandra and Purity Ring were.

I wouldn't say Diandra would be a winner. Top 5 easily though.

Just want to put it out there that 'Outta My Head' is a LOT better than Diandra's last song. Would've come top 5 probably yes - winner? I don't think so looking at recent results.

Mary N'Diaye managed to nearly do it, and that was a weaker song IMO.

 

I think Diandra could've done it, although obviously it would depend on what else was entered.

Well my shortlist was basically:

 

T-ARA - Bo Peep Bo Peep (discovered them ages ago while hunting for new K-Pop groups)

Gnucci - 360 Donna (found on Scandipop)

Diandra - Outta My Head (found randomly thanks to Onko Marsissa Lunta, later posted on Scandipop)

Jessie Ware - Wildest Moments (saw on Buzzjack, listened after liking her other stuff)

Purity Ring - Fineshrines (got into them thanks to Obedear being entered in BJSC)

Sarah De Bono - Beautiful (followed The Voice Australia and this would've been her winner's single had she not been stuck behind a blind girl with the sympathy vote and a horrific crooner with the granny vote. The winner was amazing though.)

 

This was a REALLY good month for me though, usually I'd have 3 at best.

I try to avoid sending stuff from Scandipop like the plague these days now everyone knows about it. There's no point in sending anything from there given it's barely going to be a discovery, it's become too well known...

And that Diandra song is seriously overrated! I'm surprised Orion hasn't been vetoed, unless people have had the sense to not try and send it...

I get my entries from Radio 1 (which is why the artists/songs I send often end up on the R1 playlist on their way to MILD SUCCESS a few weeks after I send them). Obviously not daytime Radio 1 which only plays the playlist though. Any song played there would either bomb or be vetoed :P

 

Scandipop seems like a ridiculously cheap source for BJSC entries.
