 New Tweet from Ginger Wildheart about their current midweek - So does that mean Cheryl is currently at #4?!

I'll be very happy to stay at number 5 by the end of the week. I honestly don't mind having @CherylCole on top of me.
That tweet is so good.

Top 5 could be like this than

1 Linkin Park/Maroon 5

2 Maroon 5/ Linkin Park

3 Justin Bieber

4 Cheryl

5 Ginger Wildheart

I assume clubland must be no1 overall - how much does it usually sell - 25k?
So we have the position of whatever 'Ginger Wildheart' is (what title will that be charting under if it has two versions with different titles?) but we don't know yet who's #1. Fun.

100% will be the Ginger album that charts as 555% was available to pledgers on pledgemusic.com only and is now deleted.

Unfortunately everyone that is going to buy the album has probably done so already so it'll plummet like a stone :( Don't be surprised if it ends up at 20 or 30-odd by the time the chart is announced :(

I would however highly recommend it (or any Wildhearts stuff) to any fans of good melodic rock :)

Ginger's album will probably sell 8 k this week and reach the top 10...

Maroon 5 and Linkin Park will be lucky to sell 25 k each...

I think JAYZ is one of the Top5...... The album was #1 instantly after the show on iTunes and its now #3.

That would mean that Justin Bieber is out of the Top 5 then which i can't see happening? We know that Cheryl is #4, Ginger Wildheart #5 and that Maroon 5 and Linkin Park are both Top 5 unless one of them is really under performing!

If Justin Bieber sold more than Cheryl last week, Justin might stay ahead of Cheryl than again the sales gap is not that big, album sales could be tight at the top, Justin could be as low as #6. Jay-Z could be top 5, just by a whisker.

One of the daily tabloids (either the Sun or Mirror can't remember) is reporting that Will.i.am is no 1 with around 45k sold. Its in the physical version, can't find it electronically

Jay Z will fade throughout the week, but, most likely hold a position in the top 10 rather than the top 5.

This is more likely. Don't forget that digital album sales are still very small, and that Adele's 21 hit a million digital sales just after it surpassed Michael Jackson's Thriller, meaning that they are around a quarter at most.

Who the hell is Ginger Whildheart?

Wildhearts were big in the 90s and have 13 top 40 singles so pretty expected imo.

Also:

"Ginger announced on February 18, 2012 that the title of the triple album would be 555% and that when the pledge total hit that number, the 3CD hard copy of the album would be withdrawn from the campaign and immediately deleted, although the digital download would remain available to all subsequent pledgers. Also, the title of the 12-track version of the release was announced to be 100%."

It pays to read page 1 first. ;)

Ginger Wildheart are a rock band.

They were known as the Wildhearts I'm sure and I think they had a Top10 album in 1995 with 'P.H.U.Q'

They've also had 13 Top40 Hits between 1994 to 2003.

Their highest peaking song was 'I Wanna Go Where The People Go' which got to #16 back in 1995.
