Like others here I had NO clue who Tamar is. But what she's done is pretty phenomenal.

So confused by the Tamar Braxton thing...

It's people like me that caused the 'thing'... I bought it 3 times!

And, Toni has mentioned on twitter that RedOne has produced her next single (written by Sonyae Elise) out 11 February. It's also been confirmed on RedOne's wiki-discography. :cheer:

Lady Gaga also tweeted a link to the song on iTunes which has surely helped raised even more awareness for it.

Edit: Beaten to it. I wonder how long she can hold onto the #1 spot. If radio start playing it now it could potentially hang around for a while!

133. Long Distance - Melanie Amaro

Poor brave Melanie. :( I really enjoyed her X Factor performance and think the song is a lot better than the couple she put out earlier in the year.

LOL, ironically enough Love&War would be a perfect debut single for Melanie Amaro.

Couldnt agree more, she is just amazing, cant understand why she is not a bigger star...

If XFACTOR USA is the same as XFACTOR UK, they won't have a star til Season 3.

He might not be anywhere now, but Shayne Ward from Season 2 did incredibly well at the time. Even Steve Brookstein has had more success than Melanie. It's embarrassing for X Factor brand as a whole in the US that Melanie is going nowhere.

PSY still at #6, I'm surprised the news about his anti-American past hasn't affected his chart success more :P

He's already apologised for it, and plus it was because of how two Koreans were killed for the outrage.

Her prize for winning X Factor was a guaranteed $5m ($1m a year for the next 5 years), so at least he won't/can't drop her.

2. Let It Be (The Voice Performance) - Terry McDermott

If Jahmene had won X Factor then there would be two entirely different covers of 'Let It Be' in the top 2 of US and UK iTunes at the same time. :o

(Cassadee Pope's 'Stupid Boy' is #1 and Nicholas David's 'You Are So Beautiful' is #4 also).

#49, somehow.
#49, somehow.

It features this rapper called Eminem who has a bit of a following.

^ And I Need a Doctor and Coming Home were big hits last year.

The song is so good, I hope it does well. Although I won't get my hopes up. The only chart I can see it going top 10 in is the rhythmic airplay chart (pretty much the same applies to My Life).
