lol. Need You Now finally getting top 20.

I really don't like that song, but it's such a classic already.

Crazy how well this has done the second time around :o There can't be many Country (or country based) songs that have gone top 20 in the UK

I find it bizarre that more people have decided to buy Need You Now this week than something like I Can Only Imagine

"Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus ? ;)

Adam Lambert doesn't deserve to get a top 20 with a song like this :puke: One of those songs that is TOO GENERIC and clearly only got this high because Capital raped it. It should drop massively next week, it's almost out the top 40 on iTunes.

Shame Adam missed the top 15 but #17 is still incredible for him - odd that he's done so well after only coming 2nd on American Idol when none of the AI winners since Jordin have done a thing here (apart from 1 week in the top 100 for Kris Allen, bizarrely). Great song, far better than anything I heard from him off his debut.

Gotye has climbed :D

I find it bizarre that anyone would ever buy a song like I Can Only Imagine, but whatever. There's hundreds of Chris Brown or Lil Wayne songs better than that imo.

This is the first time I've heard this Adam Lambert song. It's not as bad as I was expecting. The verses are much better than the chorus imo.

I know there's been a few very big ones, just I can't recall that many (I forgot about Johnny Cash though, he's surely had quite a few)

That Adam Lambert song was very generic and unremarkable really, I preferred For Your Entertainment

I wasn't really referring to the quality of song, just the recent-ness. I agree, ICOI is rather ghastly.

Gwon Gotye.

<_< Why is Lady Antibum or whatever they are called so high. The cringefest that was the jubilee effort long gone. Gloop!
Copycat Bruno Mars?!?!

I thought that as well - but it was actually co-written by Bruno Mars and co-produced by The Smeezingtons. Odd as it sounds nothing like a typical Smeezingtons/Bruno Mars song to me!
