Posted July 27, 201212 yr Where do you think this should chart - Already been massive in the US, Germany, Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Belgium (Walloon), Canada, Holland, Switzerland & now climbing in France. They are the biggest band to come out of Iceland since Sugarcubes back in the 80s & deserves to be a big hit in the UK Of Monsters & Men - Little Talks ghb6eDopW8I Edited August 2, 201212 yr by euro music
July 27, 201212 yr They are the biggest band to come out of Iceland since Sugarcubes back in the 80s & deserves to be a big hiot in the UK I wouldn't say they've quite passed Sigur Rós just yet...
July 27, 201212 yr Well anything is possible, it could get a #1, I never expected Florence to get a #1 with Spectrum, I love to see them getting a #1 out of this, but I think its going to miss due to other acts releasing around the same time period.
July 27, 201212 yr I think between 2 and 5, with it having a lot of longevity but never quite making it. Hopefully radio 1 will support this song, but with indie-pop songs like We Are Young and STIUTK making it big I think this could be a hit too!
July 27, 201212 yr Both fun and gotye were released as OA/OS (well obv not totally but released much earlier than the impact date was) singles though which makes me wonder why on earth they have removed it from itunes and held it back until 26th aug - unless it becomes a massive no1 new entry\!!
July 27, 201212 yr Can't see why this won't go top 10, if not higher. It's huge around the world and the sound is very in right now, it's a pretty good song to boot.
July 27, 201212 yr I've said 6-10, but if this massive success all around the world is anything to go by, it could easily top 5. I would be over the moon if it followed the likes of fun. & Gotyre to number 1, but I think we'll have to wait and see for that. Hopefully they won't turn out one hit wonders as their album definitely deserves to sell well too. oh and that video is amazing too  Edited July 27, 201212 yr by C.W
July 27, 201212 yr I'm a bit meh on first listen, it doesn't seem to have quite the appeal of "We Are Young" or "Somebody That I Used To Know" Should go at least top 10 though.
July 28, 201212 yr At first I would've guessed top 30 but considering it's top 3 on Ireland iTunes, with Radio 1 support and plenty of video airplay this could be a hit in the UK. I've voted 6-10 but it could become a top 5 hit. Can't see it going to no. 1 though but that's just my gut feeling.
July 28, 201212 yr It really doesn't sound like a big hit to me. :( I'm sure it will chart at least top 40 due to it's success in other countries, but it's nowhere near as anthemic as 'We Are Young' or 'Somebody That I Used To Know' and I reckon it will be one of those #21-25 long running songs.
July 28, 201212 yr That video version is very different from the version I'm used to. It seems a lot weaker and the production, particularly the 'Heys', isn't as marked. Which does hurt the song a lot. Is that how it's going to be played on radio? :( The video itself is fairly amazing though, hopefully that will help it.
July 29, 201212 yr I really like that, it's incredibly catchy, discovered it about a month ago and loved. I don't like all the Gotye or fun. comparisons - yes, they're from similar genre but that's all! Voted top-5.
July 29, 201212 yr Thank you! I heard this the other day and had no idea what it was. LOVE it. Top 5 please.
